I stand back from the mirror and admire my appearance. I was wearing high waisted shorts with a crop top and a kimono and some black High tops. My makeup was simple but still pretty. It was casual because that's what Austin said but I'm not sure if he was lying. Hopefully not.
I hear a knock at my door at exactly 7pm I ran to the door screaming 'I'll get it.' I smiled and opened it to see a rather hot looking Austin. He was wearing a white button up top with black jeans and a pair of black and white Jordan's. 'Hey Mia.' He smiled. 'Hey Austin, we should get-' I was saying until I was interrupted by my mum seeing who was at the door. 'Mia who's this?' She asked and winked at me 'Mum its Austin our neighbor. Who I told you about.' I said impatiently 'oh yes Austin.' She said and nudged me. I blushed and looked away while Austin laughed 'well it's nice to meet you...' 'Sarah' my mum corrected Austin. 'Mum austin, Austin mum. Now if you excuse us we are going to go.' I said kind of annoyed that my mum embarrassed me. 'Ok sweetie have fun and text me when your on your way home.' She said and kissed me. 'Ok bye mum see you later' I said. 'Bye Sarah.' Austin said politely.
We walked out of the door and turned to Austin 'sorry about her she's kind of protective over me.' I laughed. 'Yeah I can see that but it's cute.' He laughed 'yeah I guess so.' I smiled. 'So shall we go?' Austin asked. 'Yeah sure' I responded. We walked into the elevator and started going down. 'So where are we going?' I questioned Austin 'That's for me to know and find out.' He said with a smirk on his face. I just groaned and he laughed. We walked out of the elevator to the front door. We walked to his red Range Rover. He walked over to the passengers side and opened it for me 'thanks.' I smiled he then walked around and he turned on the engine and pulled out from the condo.
It was silence in the car but it was a nice silence I was just staring out of the car window watching the lights of the houses zoom past us. I broke the silence 'Austin how much longer?' 'About 5 minutes.' He laughed and put his hand on my knee and grabbed my hand and we sat the rest of the ride with our hands intertwined it felt nice but I don't know if I'm ready to have a boyfriend but im falling for Austin he so nice and genuine unlike Dan who was a jerk and a player, I don't even know why I went out with him in the first place. I was traced out of my thought by the engine being turned off and Austin saying 'were here Mia.' I looked over at him and said 'where?' He replied 'you'll see' he got out of the car and opened my door for me.
We walked along the path hand in hand and after about 2 minutes we reached the gates. I looked up and it was a carnival. 'Oh my gosh a carnival Austin, it's my favourite place.' I squealed whilst pulling his hand and heading to a ride. He was just laughing and following along.
A couple hours later, we had been on a couple rides and Austin won me a teddy bear in one of those games where you have to hit the duck whilst its moving. He was trying so hard it was funny. We were now on the Ferris wheel and we were just talking. 'So Mia I met your mum, but I haven't met your dad and your siblings if you have any.' Austin said. 'Oh yeah well there's emily she's 5 years old.' I smiled and continued 'and my dad.' I said and my smile faded. We were no on the top of the Ferris wheel and i looked at Austin and he said 'oh cool I hope I get to meet them soon.' 'Emily you will, she's so cute but can be annoying at times.' I laughed 'but Im not sure when you will meet my dad.' I said and looked out to the sea. 'Oh that sounds like fun but where is your dad is he on a business trip?' Austin asked. 'Yeah sure lets just go with that.' I felt a tear drop from my face and quickly wiped off but Austin noticed. 'Hey what's wrong, is it your dad?' He asked. I just stayed silent and nodded he pulled me in for a side hug and said 'you can tell me anything.' I smiled up at him but then I remembered what my dad did and I got angry and he noticed.
We both got off the ride and I started to walk away fast. 'Mia wait up, what's worng?' Austin asked as he caught his breath from running. 'Oh it's nothing.' I mumbled 'you sure, you can trust me.' He said an placed his hand on my upper arm. 'I can't do this.' I mumbled and started to run away from the carnival. I left Austin there by himself but I can hear him 'Mia, Mia come back please.' I just kept running, I had no idea where I was going but I ran along the beach. I was running for 5 minutes before I sat down on the sand tears streaming down my face. I decided I should text my mum to let her know I was coming home but to my luck my phone was dead. I should just start heading home then, im kind of near where I went running yesterday so I'll just follow the track I thought to myself. I started walking a long it before it started raining, great another thing to go wrong. I start running and I finally reach my condo after 15 minutes of running in the rain.
Once I get up to my room, I quickly go to my bathroom. Thankfully no one is awake because its 11:30 at night by the time I get home. I look in the mirror and see a depressed girl with makeup running down her face, I can't stand to look at it any longer so I quickly wipe it off and tie up my hair. I strip out of my wet clothes and put them in the hamper. I walk over to my bed and lie down thinking 'great another bad day.' I just replay that night over and over in my head before sleep takes over me.

Sorry I haven't updated in ages I just haven't been in the mood but I did make myself update tonight. It's 12:46am right now and I've just finished. But it's a bit longer so enjoy and don't forget to vote 💞
