Months after her first love said her name, her real name, Heartbreaker has had old memories flooding her head. The ones from her old life. When she was still alive. She remembers her friends. Their laughter. Her laughter. Her tears. Their tears. Her fake smile. Them falling for it. Heartbreaker knew she was going to drown in her own memories.......again. She remember being afraid, scared, sad, neglected, lost, happy, confident and most of all alone. She never felt like her friends ever really knew her. They never knew the dark side of her. The side that explained why she loved fairytales and why she loved to be alone at times. Heartbreaker just wanted someone, anyone, to ask her if she was ok and didn't stop when she said yes and why she loved fairytales. She wondered what she would say if someone asked her why. She remember spending sleepless nights thinking and hoping. Hoping that her friends would understand her. Would understand that she's not a dumb blonde. That there is a rhyme and reason to everything she did. She has cried and wished upon stars. She realized that they knew nothing about her. Not the real her. Heartbreaker tried acting sad and depressed sometimes just to see if anyone would notice or care. She got her answer but it just proved her point even more. She even turned on one of her good guy friends and told him to shut the fuck up and then wanted to cry afterwards. She was becoming a monster and her worst nightmare. She wanted to go back to middle school when she knew who she was. When she was happy and nice. She wanted to run. Run as far away as she could possibly go. Heartbreaker started crying. Waterfalls were running down her face. She curled herself in to a ball and just sat there next to her grave. Waiting for the pain to go away. She just sat there for what seemed like weeks. Days turned to nights. Minutes turned to hours. And weeks turned into months. She even forgot that if a ghost gets angry or cries for too long they are visible and turn solid after a while. Almost as if they were living but the trick is if they stay like that for too long then there body starts to fade completely! They will completely disappear out of existence! You can easily reverse it by being calm or no emotion at all for about a day or two. Heartbreaker followed that rule but she didn't stay emotionless for a day or two but for weeks. She just sat there watching people pass by and animals collected food. She remembers that she hurt one of her best friends. When her friends were making fun of her, she snapped on one of them because they called fairytales dumb. Heartbreaker told one of her best friends that he was a jerk and that the past 7 years they have spent together was a waste of time. He said they were through and she started crying. She lost her longest and best friend. She tried to get him back even if that meant admitting fairytales to be dumb. She just wanted him back. But she knew she would never truly get him back. Heartbreaker now has salt water rolling down her cheeks and they don't look like they were going to dry up any time soon. It was getting colder out. She found a jacket and curled up in it. She put up the hoodie to cover up her tear stained red face.
She just stayed there and fell asleep. Something she hasn't done in a while. A little after the break of dawn, she heard foot steps coming her way. When she looked up she saw her little sister. Oh how she has grown! It's been almost 4 years since she was alive and with her 10 year old sister. Her little sister walked right up to heartbreakers grave and placed a rose and a note was rapped around the stem of the rose wrapped neatly with a bow. Her sister just sat there on the cold hard ground. A single tear escaped her. Heartbreaker just looked at her little sister. Heartbreaker reached out to wipe away her tear but just as she was about to touch her face her sister said "Hey, remember when we got into tickle fights? Ha. You always won." She smiled a little bit. "And remember how I always hated how you won everything. I would go off crying and screaming but as we got older, I started to beat You at games." She said now she was just looking at the grave. "Yeah I remember that." Heartbreaker said slowly taking the hoodie off of her head. "And I want to thank you for always holding me when I was sad and saying everything was ok," she started to cry a little bit "even if things weren't ok you always made me feel like they were," she was full on crying now. For a second or two Heartbreaker thought she felt a beating in her chest again. She reached over and whispered in her sisters ear "everything will be alright." Her sisters head shot up right away. "Spencer?" Heartbreaker stumbled backwards in shock. She just stared at the grown. She can hear me? The only time someone can see or hear a ghost is when they are getting revenge if the died a untimely death. How can she hear me? "Spencer?" Heartbreaker looked up and saw her sister was looking straight into her eyes. "Can you see me?" Heartbreaker exclaimed confused on why this is happening. Her sister just nodded her head. Salt water filled in both of there eyes. "I love you" escaped from heartbreakers lips as a smile crossed her lips. "I love you too" said her sister and they quickly embraced each other in a hug. "Oh Scout I've missed you so much." Heartbreaker said holding her littler sister as if she would never let her go again. They stayed like that for what seemed hours. When they let go they just stared at each other. "You always made me smile when I was sad." Said Heartbreaker breaking the silence. "I remember the times I would cry in my room cause I had a bad day or something happened and I would get a funny and loving text from you. At times you didn't even see me sad or upset since I was in my room but you always just seemed to know. I just want to say thank you. For everything and for always being there for me. I just wish that I could have been there for you."she said stumbling over her words. "I feel like I've missed everything. Your first dance, your first kiss, your first day of high school and your first boyfriend-" Before heartbreaker could finish they heard foot steps. She looked up and saw a good looking guy who was about 14 or 15. Scout just smiled and grabbed him into a hug. "Who is this?" Heartbreaker just looked curious who this man was with her sister. "This is James, my first boyfriend." Scout said bringing him over to her not-so-much-older-now sister. Heartbreaker held out her hand but he just looked at the stone with her name on it. She knelt before him but he didn't look at her but through her. "Can he see me?" "I don't think so." Said scout in a sadder tone. "Who are you talking love?" He said looking up the girl who heartbreaker was too proud for words. "I'm just talking to my sister. I know it sounds crazy but you know me. I'm always doing weird stuff like that." She said with a little giggle in her voice. She sounded a bit like her older sister did. James stood up, grabbed her waist and said " and that's the reason why I love you." And kissed her. Heartbreaker could see that he loved her with all his heart. He was a good fella and she had turned into a absolutely beautiful and kind young woman. "I'll meet you in the car." Scout said but not before one move quick kiss before he left. "He's a keeper." Scout turned around and smiled at her sisters remark. "You think so?" "I know so, or else my name isn't spencer the heartbreaker." She said with a light hearted laugh. "The heartbreaker?" Her sister repeated with confusion. "Do you mean when those guys said that you took out there hearts and crushed them you actually did?" Her sister just looked at her in astonishment. "I'm sorry scout but I was just so sad and they just made me hurt so much I couldn't stand it any more and-" she was interrupted but a laughing girl who was now rolling on the ground. "What's so funny?" She said just staring at her insane sister. "It's just.......my sister......has superpowers! Now were........really like.......Anna and Elsa!" She said between breathes. Even heartbreaker had to laugh at that. They always pretended to be those two disney sisters and now they were almost living that dream. Almost. Except one sister is dead and the other is alive. "How can you see me?" Scout stopped laughing and looked at her sister who now had a stern expression. "This doesn't make sense. You shouldn't be able to see me. I'm dead! A ghost! A soul! A character in a fairytale!" She sister just laughed at this. "Oh don't tell me you've forgotten already?" "Forgot what?" Heartbreaker said too confused to think. Scout got up. "The most important rule. The one that can make a grown adult a child again and a child can turn into the wisest human." Scout leaned in and whispered a glorious rule of life. The ones she had told her sister to many times to count. "Believing isn't just seeing, feeling, tasting, smelling, or hearing something real. Believing is when your brain yells it isn't real but when your heart whispers it's real and you can hear it louder than anything before." Tears brimmed in heartbreakers eyes. "She remembers." She thought to herself. "What to hear a secret?" Asked scout looking at her her beautiful older sister. Heartbreaker nodded slightly. Scout picked up the rose with the note on it handed it to her. Heartbreaker looked at it for a second but after that second her sister was gone. Heartbreaker slowly undid the bow holding it together, unwrapped the paper from the stem and read the most beautiful 5 words in her life. She repeated those 5 words over and over in her head for the rest of her life. "I still believe in you, I still believe in you......
