I turned the corner to get to my "house". I unlocked what was left of the door and set my bag and shoes down. I made my way into the living room when I heard 'CRASH'. My head shot up from the book I had started reading.
I followed the mumbling voices sounds of feet crushing old pieces of paper on the floor.
"What are you doing here!" I yelled, catching them by surprise. Then I see the bags of money they're holding, 'THIS IS THEIR HIDEOUT'
"Get the HELL out!" I surround my body with dark energy and get in a fighting stance.
They attept to fight me back. One man punches me in the eye but in the end I had defeated them. I took the money and thugs to the police. I was exhausted and fell asleep almost immediately once I was in bed. I just hope I can cover up my black eye with make up in the morning.
