On a sunny spring day, usually, Tim is very busy. His flower shop is overrun by gardeners and little kids, shopping for their mothers. Today was no exception, except that it was only Tim working. He usually has his coworker Dick helping him but the older man was off doing other stuff, leaving Tim very busy. Tim wasn't angry at him but he was getting pretty frustrated at a kid that didn't know what tax was.

"But it says 3.99!" The kid says, on the verge of tears. "I know but there's this thing called tax which means it costs a little extra." Tim says, his voice not showing his frustration. The kid still looks disappointed but gives Tim 4 dollars and 5 cents. "Have a good day!" Tim says and waves goodbye to the child as the child runs away to give the single tulip to his mom. Tim continues with helping customers until 6 o'clock when the store closes.

The small man starts the close-up shop until a tall, muscular man shows up. He's holding the door open, knowing he's stronger than Tim. "It'll only take a second, promise." The man promises while Tim crosses his arms. "Pinky promise?" He says, holding out his pinky. Tim can't help but laugh and wrap his small pinky finger around the other. "I'm Jason, I own the tattoo shop across the street," Jason says while pulling his hand back and actually coming in the store. He grins at Tim before beginning to look around the store. "I think I've seen you before and another guy. Maybe a girl too? They both have red hair." Tim says, watching Jason browse his special succulent and cacti section. Jason looks at Tim and smiles.

"Yeah, they work with me. Roy and Star." Jason says while bringing a Rosette Cactus to the empty counter. Tim quickly walks over to the counter. He smiles at the cactus. "Nice choice, Jason," Tim says and looks at the label on the clay pot. "Yeah, I was going with this one or the fleshy ones," Jason answers, making Tim's eyes glow for a second. "I honestly love those fleshy succulents! They're so easy to take care of. Also, this will be 2 dollars and 75 cents." Tim says, smiling a true smile at Jason. Jason gives Tim the money and says goodbye before leaving.

Tim simply stands there, smiling about how their hands brushed together. He starts to blush before squealing a bit.

((Maybe I'll make this into a series. *peace signs out cause I'm an e-boy*))
