Man this place is amazing corneria is a really big place after I was adopted son of peppy he is the nice man I'm glade I became his son he taught me everything of science and some history of corneria every now and then James would come over with his daughter fox at first the two of us were shy but warmed up to and became good friends now I'm 17 years old along with fox we both entered an academy for arwing pilots we also a female avian named falco she was a good shot fox and her became friends along with a frog named slippy he was a bright kid one time I ran into a wolf girl named wolf she was something but she treated me like a brother
Right now me and Fox along with the others are still in the academy I was in the dojo training with Zack a friend I made during the beginningof the year we were sparing in hand to dand combat that I was good at I knocked him down with a leg sweep
Zack: *grunts* man why are we doing this if we're training on how to pilot an arwing
Y/n:*chuckles* true but it's good to know some hand to hand combat when not using one
We both laughed and I helped him up once I did we hear some clapping we turned to see a certain vixen with her cheeky grin and her emerald green eyes
Fox: well I was wondering where you guys were
Y/n: hey fox what brings you here
Fox: well you guys know that the tag team flight test comming up in the next three days
Zack: yeah we know what do you want to talk about for it
Fox: well I was wondering if you guys got any partners yet?
Y/n: wait you don't have a partner yet did you ask everyone
Fox: yes I asked everyone even falco but she was already set for a partner
Zack: well I got a partner already by a girl who wanted me to be her partner practically begged so I thought why not
Y/n: dang are you sure she doesn't have a crush on you my man
Zack: hey man don't joke at the and what about you and Fox since you two don't have a thing for each other
After he said that me and Fox blushed sure we have spend some time together but were just friends
Y/n:/Fox: I don't know what your talking about we're just friends
Zack: you sure you two just said a sentence and your reaction says other wise
Me and Fox looked each other as fixed blushed even more I had to do something before things gets awkward between us
Y/n: okay okay let's drop the subject so Fox you still looking for a partner?
Fox: a... a yeah y/n I was wondering if you liked to be my partner for the test
Y/n: well I couldn't find a partner either I was wondering if you wanted to be my partner but I thought you and falco would be partners but since your not sure I would love to
I said with a smile to my surprise is that she blushed when I did
Fox's thoughts: God why is he so cute when he smiles
Y/n: uh Fox are you alright corneria to Fox
Fox: huh oh yeah I'm fine thanks for being my partner y/n
Y/n: no problem *smiles*
As I smiled at Fox I noticed she blushed more must be by what Zack said earlier
Fox's thoughts: why is my heart beating faster when he smiles and it doesn't help he's so Damn cute with that smile
Zack: anyway I'm going to head out see ya guys tomorrow
Y/n: later man
Fox: yeah later
After Zack left it was only me and Fox I was about to go to the lockers to put the academy uniform back on as I was about to enter the looker room until Fox grabbed my wrist
Y/n: what's up Fox you need something?
Fox: y/n I was wondering if you like to hang out after classes tomorrow if your not busy
Y/n: *blushes* u um as a d date or as friends?
Fox: *blushes* just as friends of course
Fox's inner voice: oh come on you know you have a crush on him just do it and tell him
Fox's thoughts: quiet you
Y/n: sure I don't mind
Fox: great I'll see you tomorrow!!!
Y/n: you got it and tell your father I said "hi"!
Fox: you got it!
As soon as Fox left I couldn't help but smile at how cute she can be so I head to my looker and got my uniform on then head back home
Fox pov
Falco: you didn't tell him how you felt for him
I told falco how I was too nervous to ask y/n on a date and just said we were hanging out as friends she knows my crush on y/n so she tries to help me and give me some advice
Fox: I was too nervous to tell him because I'm afraid that it will make awkward between us
Falco: you shouldn't be afraid to tell him he'll me and him talked from time to time he's a guy that is very understanding and he is the first and only human on corneria so you have nothing to worry about
Fox: I guess your right thanks for the talk Falco
Falco: no problem girl I'll catch ya later
With that we went on to our houses I started to think on what Falco said I guess shouldn't worry about telling y/n about how I feel about him I broke out of my thoughts as I made it home I went inside
Fox: dad I'm home
I didn't get a reply so I'm guessing he'll be home late tonight so I went to my room to think how I'll tell y/n about my feelings towards him should i be forwards or should I take it slow then something came to mind
Fox: maybe I should ask my father how I should ask y/n I hope my father understands
