💖Chapter 1💖

 "JAYDA!" My younger sister Hailee yelled.

"What do you want Hailee I'm tryna sleep." I whispered

"Okay and? You need to get up it's important." She said banging on my door

I crawled out of bed and put on my pink furry slides and walked out of my room while checking my phone for the time.

"Hailee it's 5:30 what can be so-"

I looked up and saw my best friend Melody I haven't seen since she moved to Houston  with her mom for a job. She moved 1 year ago and our squad has been a little less poppin and she was the missing piece.

"MELLY!" I screamed still shocked she was here.

"If it ain't Jesus that woke me everybody getting their butt beat!" My mom said walking down the stairs with an extension cord in her hand.

"I'm sorry mama K I didn't mean to disturb you I just wanted to say hey to Jayda."

"Oh my goodness is that my favorite daughter Melody!" 

I was going facetime all the girls to tell them Melody was back. Until the doorbell rang.

It is way too early to be throwing parties Jayda Summer Brooks!" My mom yelled before winding her arm back to hit me with the cord.

I ran to the door and said in a man like voice "Who is it!" 

Nobody responded and I know if No one answers I will not open the door because that's how people die in scary movies and trust me boo I am not the one . I looked through the peephole and there was nobody there.

"You know what I already told them nappy headed ass boys to stop playing with my damn doorbell!"

"Well Jay I will see you at school and we can talk there bye mama K bye Lee Lee." Melody said waving.

Hailee rolled her eyes "Stop calling me that baby ass name!" 

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE CURSING IN MY MOTHERFUCKING HOUSE WE DON'T CURSE HERE" My mom said while beating Hailee with the cord. 

I ran up to my room and shut my door knocking down the picture of my dad and I off the wall. I picked it up and rubbed my thumb over our smiling faces. My dad died in a shooting last year and I missed him so much. 

I looked at my phone and it was 5:46 which is about the time I get up. I grabbed my towel then wrapped my hair up so it won't get wet in the shower. Turned on my music and did my hygiene.

~30 minutes later~

I sat at my vanity and did my makeup and edges. I put on my white Air Force 1's and grabbed my bag while unplugging my phone. Grabbing all my homework off of the desk and getting my room back in order because for some reason everytime I get dressed I end up with a pile of clothes on my floor and bed.

I walked out of my room and grabbed my orange like usual and hopped in my Mercedes chrome pink G-Wagon that my dad got me on my 16th birthday. I started the car and started listening to Girls need love Remix with Drake this whole song is a vibe.

I rolled down my windows because it is May in Atlanta Georgia it was hot. I started singing as loud as I could. 

"just need some dick I just need some love Tired of fucking with these lame niggas baby I just need a thug." I sang at a red light.

I glanced over and saw an older white lady who had some kids in the back and as the light turned green I heard her say "These niggars all need to stop being so provocative!" 

I took out a tiny knife and threw it at her front tire and sped of and yelled "Now ya old ass can't drive."

~10 minutes later~

As I parked my car I got out and locked my doors. I ran to the my friends and they were hanging out with a group of fine looking boys.

"Hey boos!"

"Hey Summer." Gabriella said 

"Oo Jayda you looking fine today honey." Asia giggled

"Thanks Asia you looking like a full course meal."

"Thanks love" Asia said 

A darker skinned boy looked at me and looked me right in my soul. 

"Who is she?" He said to Gabriella

"Oh that's Jayda Summer she's apart of our group too." Gabriella said

"Gabby Ray where is Melody?" I questioned

"Oh I have no idea." Gabby said

I put my stuff on the floor and sat at the table talking with the girls.

"Jayda I forgot to introduce you to the boys go ahead in introduce yourself."

"I'm Izzy" Said an older looking light skinned boy

"I'm K.C or Karter you pick lil mama." he said licking his lips and smirking at me.

"Wassup I'm Landon" He said just above a whisper I could tell he was shy.

I looked over at the dark skinned boy who never said his name. 

"What you staring at me for?" He said

"I was waiting for you to say your name what else would I be waiting on?"

"Lose the attitude I'm Christian I already know you name."

"Okay well I'm Jayda Summer You can call me both like Gabby or you can just call me Jayda."

"Heyyy." They all said in unison everybody except Christian.
