Bonus Chapter

One year later (2021)

Harry's POV

"Louis hurry up we are going to miss the appointment babe." I said out loud. "I am coming my love." Louis said back. Louis came downstairs and came up to me and gave me a quick peck. "Ok babe let's go." He said and we walked out of the house. We got in the car and drove off to the adoption center. I checked to make sure the car seat was perfect before Louis taking off.

My leg was bouncing up and down because of how nervous I am. Louis put his hand on my knee keeping it still. "It's ok babe, everything is going to go great." Louis said. I nodded my head and turned back to the road. Louis was rubbing my knee trying to calm me as he was driving and it is working. Louis turns into the adoption center and parks the car.

"Are you ready my love?" Louis asked facing me. "I am a little nervous. Are you sure you want this babe, I don't want to-" Louis cut me off "Hey Harry, I want this. Ok babe. I want this so bad. Yes it is a bit scary because we are taking a big step, but it is going to be ok. And don't worry. I want this as much as you do." Louis finished.

I smiled at him and leaned in to peck his lips. He smiled back at me with his dashing smile as always. Damn I am so lucky. We got out of the car and he grabbed my hand. We walked into the adoption center and walked up to the front desk. "Hi. Can I help you?" The lady at the front desk asked. "Um yes. We are here to adopt." Louis said casually.

The lady looked up at us and smiled. "Of course! Let me get the papers you need to fill out. Don't worry they are just basic questions." The lady said with a smile. We smiled back and I grabbed the papers with my free hand and we walked to the waiting room.

We looked at each other and gave each other reassuring smiles. We both looked down and answered the questions. It took about 10 minutes but we were finally done. We stood up and walked up to the front desk and handed the papers to the lady. "Ok someone should be out here in a bit." She said with a bright smile. "Thank you." Louis and I both said and walked into the waiting room.

After a few minutes a lady came out. "Harry and Louis?" The girl called out. We stood up and walked into the room. There was a long hallway with rooms on each side. Some classrooms and some bed rooms with bunk beds and TV's. The lady bought us into her office and we sat down across from each other. "Ok so what kind of child do you want. Girl or boy?" She asked. Louis and I looked at each other and smiled because we already agreed on a gender.

"A girl" Louis overlapping "A boy". We stared at each other. "I thought we agreed on a girl" I said. "No you wanted a girl, I wanted a boy." Louis said. The lady in front of us was holding back a laugh. "We are calling uncle Niall." I said. I dialed his phone number and he answered immediately. "Hey Harry did you get the kid yet?" Niall said with food obviously in his mouth. "Ok one, Niall don't talk with your mouth full and two, should we get a boy or a girl?" I asked Niall.

"Easy a girl obviously." Niall said. "Thanks Niall." I said and hunged up. I looked over at Louis and gave him a cocky look. "We are getting a girl." I said proudly. Louis just laughed and shook his head. He grabbed my hand and nodded his head and kissed my cheeks. "Ok now how old?" The lady asked. "9 months or older" Louis and I said at the same time. "Awwww" we both said at the same time. "Y'all are too cute." The lady said. "Thanks" Louis said with a smile.

"Ok let me lead y'all to the room." She said with a smile. She led us back into the hallway and we followed her until we reached a room. Inside were many baby girls and workers taking care of them. I smiled at the sight and so did Louis. "Ok here it is. Come back to my office when you chose." The lady said and walked out. I took a deep breath in and we started looking.
