"i'm sorry i acted like i liked you." finn looked down. "sorry that i took your virginity when you probably wanted it to be with someone meaningful. sorry that-"

"finn, shut up." i rolled my eyes.

"no, listen to me, i-"

"finn, shu-"

"don't interrupt me!" finn shouted, his jaw clenched.

"i- okay." i swallowed.

"sorry." he said sadly. "i didn't mean to- never mind."

"sit down." i sighed.

if we wanted to sort things out, we might as well take a seat.

"okay, i just wanna know... if you really liked me?" finn asked, curiously.

"oh, well." i coughed.

i really did like the piece of shit. i didn't want to admit it so i straight out lied, because i might look pathetic.

"nah." i smirked.

"mhm." he nodded, obviously not believing me.

"it's true!" i laughed, lightly slapping his arm.

he rolled his eyes playfully and then turned so we were both looking into eachothers eyes.

"i don't believe you on that, y/n." he licked his lips. "you did like me. you still do."

"what?" i frowned.

"oh, i know you do." he raised his brow.

"whatever makes you sleep at night." i rolled my eyes. "and no, i didn't. you didn't even like me anyway."

"ah, y/n." finn sighed. "this is too confusing."

"you're right." i bit my lip and turned away so we weren't making eye contact anymore. "let's maybe stop. being friends. or whatever we were. and just be civil."

"oh, you reckon?" he frowned.

"yes, it's distracting our careers. i didn't sign up for that." i smacked my lips together and looked down.

i saw finn in the corner of my eye who looked disappointed.

"okay." he gulped. "uh, bye."

"bye." i whispered.

i watched him get up and leave.

okay, now my life should be easier.
