A couple of plagues
Try to break my pledges
My humble abode stolen
Tries to make me feel like I'm not chosen
I ask where my God is
I can't even hear a silent hiss
When my trouble assails me
I look around and can't see him
All these challenges
And many great changes
Keep me thinking while challenging
My loyalty to the ancient of ages
And boom, I realize
That things happens, evil materialize
But it's my faith in God that keeps me standing
And my hope in His love that leaves me walking.
