I think to myself a bit, "Yeah, a party would be fun. I'm twenty and supposed to be in college, so they'd be throwing some legendary parties!"

My thoughts get interrupted by a phone call, it's a girl. "Hello, I was calling about the babysitting job you had posted here." I thought in confusion, "You have the wrong number, this is Asher." I hung up. Weird.

I called a few of my buddies up, basically giving them the run down of the party and to invite anybody they wanted. I wasn't crazy rich, but my parents have this huge beach house that I could throw the party at. I called my parent's house phone. My dad picked. "Hello?" I think he would be cool if I borrowed it for the weekend. "Hey dad, it's Asher. I have a favor to ask." Then, I remembered back to graduation and how I haven't talked to my parents after that day. I felt ashamed.

My thoughts were interrupted, "Asher? What's the favor, sweetie?" I realized it wasn't my dad anymore. It was my mom. Her voice sounded broke. "I was wondering if I could use the beach house to throw a party for the weekend." I waited for an answer. "Yes you may, but you will have to make a deal with us." I thought about it. "Okay, well what's the deal, mom?" She answered quickly, "It's been so long, can you just come and visit us. With it being September, you should visit for the holidays coming up." Honestly, I did miss them. There was no reason to really avoid them. I think I just hated their constant fighting so I had to leave.

I gave in. "I miss you all so much over there. Of course, I'll be there for Thanksgiving." I said sympathetically.

My mother sounded overjoyed, she yelled it to my father, "Honey, he's coming for Thanksgiving." I chuckled at that. "So mom, we have a deal?" She was really happy, "Yes, sweetie!"

This party is going to be the best. "Alright, mom, see you soon. I love and miss you and dad"

"We love you too, sweetheart. Stay safe!"

With that, I hung up and got to texting everybody in my contacts the address of the beach house and when the party would be and to invite everybody that they possibly could.

I looked through my recent calls and remembered that girl had called me. Hmm. I redialed it and it rang twice. "Hello, beautiful" I was guessing how angelic her voice sounded that she was beautiful. "Who is this?" She must've not remembered she called me just a while ago. Hm. "Hey, I was calling to let you know there was a party tonight at my place. You should get a text of the address" It was silence for a few seconds, then I heard her, "Excuse me?" I laughed a little and smirked, "You heard me." And I hung up. You always have to leave the ladies wondering. I thought to myself.

She did sound beautiful though. I mean around my age, I was hoping. I haven't alway been the best with the ladies. I can get pretty shy, but with that girl, it seemed like it'd be fun to mess around with her. It left me wondering, what was her name? What does she look like? Would she like me? I mean, I wasn't in college, so I probably wouldn't come off as smart. I am averagely built. I didn't come with much muscle, but I had some. About 5'11. Weighing around 190. I have dark brown hair that was cut clean and styled nicely. I have hazel eyes. It made me think, why wouldn't a girl like me? I have a pretty good personality. I'm not some jerk.

I remembered back to high school, "Well, maybe back then I came off as a jerk. I did play a little" A guy talks to me, "What was that?" I shake off my thoughts, "Nothing." I realize I made it to my car and this guy came out of nowhere, looking a bit concerned. I had been talking some of my thoughts, aloud. Whoops. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off.

I got in my car and drove out to the beach house, "Time to get this party started!" Speaking of time, I looked at my watch, it read: 5:37pm. I have six hours to make this happen.
