"Hey, mom!" I yelled as I smiled and held the scroll in my hands.

My mom came out of our little house.

"Yes, Rouxi?"

"Look!" I said as I handed her the scroll.

She opened the scroll and read from it word to word out loud.

"Kim Rouxi, you have been chosen to the guild 'Sky Ravens'. If you do not want to, you do not have to. But do remember this is a once in a life time chance. If you do think to go, please get ready to take the test and please get your stuff ready.

She looked at me shocked, tears were swelling up in her eyes as she stared at me.

"M-my daughter... you have been chosen out of thousands. Please go and compete to get into the guild..."

She stuttered out as a few tears slid down her wrinkly face of an old women.

At that moment my siblings came back from adventuring into the woods.

"Hello!"
My sister Rouyo said brightly with my brother Bingbing following close behind.

"Hi mother!"
Bingbing said as they closed the gate door.

When they finally saw mother crying, they ran over and hugged her.

"What happened, mother? Rouxi, why is she crying?"
Rouyo asked.

"Mother... are you ok?"
Bingbing said looking at her with worried eyes.

I took the scroll from her hands and smiled. I could feel my eyes slowly filling with tears blurring out my sight.

"Yes mother.." I silently muttered out loud enough for her to hear.

I went inside and got my stuff all packed up.

I sighed as I sat on my bed and looked at the scroll.

What will happen when I leave? Yes mother, Rouyo, and Bingbing knows how to protect themselves... but I'm still worried...

I went to the doorway of my room leading me outside. I looked around looking at my mother cooking my last dinner. I watched as Rouyo and Bingbing played and fought. It was the last time I'm going to see it... unless I come back...
