Narrator's Point of View

It's been three years since Byun Baekhyun was announced dead. Three years since Chanyeol started to be heartless. Three years since Chanyeol's heart was broken. Two years after Chanyeol became a Chief Executive Officer of a company. Two years since he kept himself busy with work.

"Chanyeol-ah, you've been like a son to me. I treated you like my own son. For that, I want to give you this company--

"But sir I am not worthy--

"Silence. You are worthy of this and you're the only person I can trust to keep this company going. Please Chanyeol, this is my last request to you."

"Okay sir."

Chanyeol's Point of View

Another day of work. I sighed as I got up from my bed feeling as dull as ever. This few weeks had been nothing but trouble to me. Baekhyun's death certificate was never found and at the same time, Sehun already relocated to another place and I'm still trying to find him to look for answers. On top of that, I've been invited to fancy but boring parties that were always filled with business topics.

"Sir, you've got a party to attend at Mr. Kim's--

"I know. Party at Mr. Kim's mansion at 7 pm. Got it, thanks for reminding me." I faked a smile to my secretary and she bowed then left my office.

"Finally, a party without conversations including businesses and money. It's been a while since I've gone to those kind of parties." Mr. Kim-- also known as Kim Jongdae, a successful doctor who I've been friend with since high school.

I glanced at the clock and it read 6 pm which means I need to get ready for the party. I bid my secretary goodbye and told her to lock my office after finishing the paper works and I began to head down the elevator. I pressed the ground floor button and waited for a few seconds before the song Insomnia started playing. I hummed as I tapped my feet in rhythm with the music. I unlocked my Honda before getting in. Even if I am a CEO, it doesn't change the fact that I'm still that person who doesn't really care about the brand but the quality. Being rich doesn't mean you don't try to save your money. I opened the radio as a sudden news was announced.

{Well folks, it seems like the Korean hollywood actor Justin Kim is in Korea and was told that he's attending a friend's party here in Seoul. So if I were you, I'd start knocking on every door here in Seoul just to get a glimpse of Justin and maybe take a picture with him.}

I just laughed at the reporter. Is she really that desperate to just get a glimpse of a Hollywood actor? I just shook my head and continued to drive as the song Lighters came up. I rolled down my window as I got on the gate of Jongdae's house.

"Name." The guard said.

"Park Chanyeol." I replied and he started to look at the list and nod at the other guard as they opened the gate. I saw a few cars already there meaning I wasn't the first one to get there which is fine with me.

I opened the door to his house and to my surprise, he upgraded almost everything.

"Oh! Chanyeol! It's been months! How have you been?" Minseok asked me and I answered.

"Still the same." I smiled and he frowned.

"You know, you should find someone new. I think Baekhyun will understand that. Let's just face the fact Chanyeol that Baekhyun is already--
