~Chapter 5 - S is for Sweet~

Y/N's P.O.V.-

Walking to school was nice. Regular wind breezing, and leaves falling. Fall is nice season. Not too hot and not too cold. Today seems like a great day! The sleepover even made it more fun!

The school day wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be. More homework piles up on my schedule once I get home. Plus we're most likely to do poems as more homework from the literature club.

 Sigh

What a day. At least the literature isn't that boring. It's fun to be with all my "new" friends. Maybe Naruki made some sort of sweet today. That'll go well with Yuki's tea as well.

 As I walked to the club after regular classes, I heard someone playing the piano. A soft smile appears on my face. It feels like forever since I've heard Moniko's piano playing. Guess that means Moniko's going to be late for the club.

 I open the door to the club to find Satori sitting in a chair looking zoned out. I walk up to him and-

Poke!

-poke his cheek.

"...!"

I giggle at his surprised face. I don't even think Satori even noticed me walking up to him.

"Welcome back to Earth" I grin.

"Oh jee, thanks for the greeting" Satori mumbles sarcastically.

 "You ok Sa-"

Just before I asked Satori if he's doing ok, Naruki slams the door open and stomps in looking annoyed. A few seconds after that scene, Yuki walks in looking really awkward.

"Did something happen...?" I wonder out loud. Maybe Yuki and Naruki got in a fight...

"Ugh it's you" Naruki starts, as if he just noticed I was here.

"Yep it's me" I reply.

"Whatever" Naruki huffed. 

"Good afternoon, (Y/N)" Yuki started out to not seem as awkward anymore.

"Good afternoon Yuki!"

 "Is Moniko here yet?" He questions.

Just as Yuki asked that, Moniko walks in panting, as if he was running the marathon. Not sure if he's still forgetting about the time whenever he practices piano again or something.

"Yes" Moniko answers, still out of breath.

"Did you just climb like, five fleets of stairs really fast to get here?" Satori chuckled.

"S-so what if I did?" Moniko sputters defensively.

All we did was laugh after that. Yuki started up some tea and Naruki brought out a fresh new batch of chocolate-chip cookies. I already knew Naruki made some because of the pleasant waft coming from Naruki's bag. 

"Made them myself!" Naruki stated proudly.

"They're really good!" Yuki compliments, trying to wipe his mouth with a napkin to be polite. If Yuki and Naruki did get into some sort of fight before the club, then maybe it's been repaired.

Everyone agreed that the cookies were really tasty. After that we all got into groups and shared our poems. Everyone seemed to like my poem except for Naruki.
