Y/N POV

I've been transferred to the best college in the country, and that's because of my grades ( perfect grades), even though it's a little late, I mean I've been in my old college for the past 3 years
so one year left, and it's starting in two months now.

I have a weird habit of reading certain books depending on my mood, for example, I'm reading " the science of plants" because I'm nerves.

* knock * * knock *

Jin:" may I come in ?"
Me:" yeah"
He opens the door and his face turned as white as the sheet as soon as he saw me
Jin:" is there something wrong?"
I just nodded "no"
Jin:" you can't fool me, there is obviously something going on!"( concerned )
I didn't answer which made him continue to talk
Jin:" look I've been with you for the past 4 years, you know that I know about the books thing "
I just sighed
Jin:" is it about the college ?"
I closed the book then looked at him
Jin:" it's gonna be ok, you are strong and smart so there is nothing to worry about "
My cousin Jin is the only one that I can depend on, he's like a mom to me since my parents aren't there for me, they always travel in the excuse of work but I know they don't give a shit about me that's why they don't call or come back
Me:" Jin... It's ok "
I saw empathy in his eyes so I sighed again
Jin:" I'll go then.."( soft voice )
I just noded

That day at night

Jin came to my room to tell me that my friend Lisa is here so I got out to see her
Lisa:" Hey!!!" ( exited )
I just stood there
Lisa:" let's go to the bar, please, please, please "
She looked at me with puppy eyes.
I opened my mouth to say something but she cut me off
Lisa:" I know you don't drink, you can drink juice"
Me:" is it because of that guy again?"
She blushes and nods shyly
Me:" ok "
I said going back inside
She pouted and stood there with sad expression but I got inside anyway

After 2 minutes

I got back to see her in tears
Me:" what's going on?"
She looked at me with surprising features
Lisa:" I *sob* th-thought you * Sob* didn't wanna c-come *Sob* "
Me:" I went to grab a jacket or do you want me to freeze to death "
She hugged me which didn't feel good cuz I hate huge, I don't know when did it start but hugs make me uncomfortable
Lisa:" I love you"
I pushed her slightly and continued to walk
Lisa:" umm Y/N?"
I stopped and looked at her
List:" bffft it's the other way "
Pointing at the right way, I got past her as quickly as I can which made her laugh, even more, I'm really bad with directions

At the bar

Lisa sat near her "secret" boyfriend, and I went to the bar tender
The bar guy:" can I help you?"
Me: "orange juice without ice please "
The bar guy:" ok "
It happened that I sat next to Lisa's boyfriend's friend

( I don't want to use "??" so I'll call him " A " for now 😂 )

A:" oh you came with the girl right?"
I just ignored him
A:" you know we have to do some kind of conversation since we ended up in the same boat " ( laughing at the end )
I looked at him then back to my glass of juice
A:" not very talkative huh..."
He didn't seem disappointed, but sounds like he was deep thinking?
A:" you are very much like my young sister "
I looked at him then nodded my head back straight
A:" I really tried to get her, well I did eventually, but the conversations kept itself interesting "

A wave of silence filled the air although we both didn't mined it Lisa came to break it anyways

Lisa:" Y/N..., oh there is some good vibes here "( wiggling her eyebrows )
Me:" going home?"(straight face)
Lisa:" oh about that..."
She sounds guilty so I understood what she was about to ask
Me:" yes you can "
She hugged me tightly before breaking it to run to her bf smiling brightly
A:" uhhh, what just happened?"
