Warning: Bakugou and everything that comes with our blasty boi

Dance/Suits/Music

Knock, knock.
Kirishima flinched, turning around quickly as he raced towards his door. U.A. had announced a impromptu dance two weeks ago, and every student had panicked, flooding nearby malls in their frantic search for something nice to wear. Attendance wasn't required, so Bakugou wasn't going, despite the Bakusquad's - including his - pleas. A few others had opted out, including Tokoyami and Shoji. Kirishima wouldn't have been going, but Mineta was only allowed to go if he had someone to watch him carefully, and it had been debated between Iida and him before he'd spoken up. Iida had helped with setting up the party, not to mention how much he did as class representative, and the entire class figured he deserved a night off - Bakugou excluded, of course. Mina, Kaminari, and Sero had protested, until he revealed that he'd been planning to stay in the dorms the whole night.

The staff was chaperoning, because the dance was open to everyone - including the support and general study courses. Principal Nezu was particularly excited about a maze in the back, with riddles and traps hidden along the way to victory. Aizawa was reluctant to agree, but was going because there would be food and he didn't quite trust a few students not to use their quirks at the dance, and while he'd mostly meant Bakugou, Mina was an extremely competitive dancer and she would be more likely to "Destroy the floor with acid," as Sero had put it, than Bakugou was to "Blow somebody's face into next week," as Kaminari had put it.

Kaminari was going with Sero - as friends, they said, but everybody could tell from Kaminari's blush to Sero's averted gaze that they both were looking forward to it as something more. Mina was going with Aoyama as friends because sparkles. Kirishima had been hoping to go with Bakugou until one day last week. Midoriya  had asked him. The reply was to say, "I'd rather fuck a tablespoon." And walk out of the room, leaving Midoriya standing awkwardly. The rest of the Bakusquad was planning on spending the night mostly together, with Mina, Aoyama, and Kirishima planning to ditch Kaminari and Sero halfway through, so they could have some time alone. They were thinking of checking out the maze and meeting up with the other two after they'd all finished.

Kirishima straightened his tie and opened his door to reveal Mina, with her hand poised to strike again. She beamed at him, "You look so good! Bakugou's really missing out!" Kirishima flushed, putting his hands over his face to hide it. The entire Bakusquad, except for Bakugou himself, knew about Kirishima's crush. He did his best to hide it but it didn't work.Mina peeled them away to get a good look at his face. "Are you done?" He was wearing a pair of dark blue pants with a brown belt. His black shirt was tucked in, and his red tie matched the color of his hair. He'd considered leaving his hair down, or tying it back in a ponytail, but he decided to gel it up in his usual spikes. He had a nice pair of black shoes on, and he'd added eyeliner to complete the look. All in all, he looked great, but it looked like something was missing.

"No, but I'm almost ready! I just gotta put of the jacket. And I was thinking about putting on makeup to hide my scar..." His voice trailed off, and Mina winced. She knew how proud of it he was, how manly he thought it made him look. "And speaking of looking good, you should talk! You're absolutely gorgeous!"

She smiled proudly. She was wearing a dark blue dress that went down to her knees. The sleeves and neckline were made from lace with flower-like designs, becoming solid about four centimeters (one and a half inches) past her collarbones. The sleeves went off of her shoulder, and the design showed on top of the material until it reached her waist, where the dress widened. It complimented her pink skin, and her golden eyeshadow made her irises pop. A pair of teardrop-shaped earrings hung from her ears, with gold metal surrounding a dark blue gem. She had black flats on, and when Kirishima looked up with a raised eyebrow, she defended herself with, "It'll be easier to dance. That's why I have these on, too." She lifted her skirt to show a small pair of black biker shorts underneath. He laughed quietly. "You should leave your scar alone. You look nice with it! Now hurry up, we gotta go meet up with the others."
