Breakfast

"Alec?" jace said surprised. "ummm.... H.. Hi..." Alec stuttered Nervously. 'God, why did I come down here?' Alec thought to himself, trying to fight back his tears. "it's nice to see you down here again" jace said smiling happily, maryse, Robert and max, were all smiling gently. "come take a seat darling" maryse said gently while patting the seat next to her.' I can't do this' Alec thought to himself, while a tear ran down his cheek. "well.... I... I just wanted to say... Errrr.... I hope you enjoy breakfast" Alec's voice broke while running back upstairs, "Alec?" jace said sadly, he missed his brother so much, it was as if he wasn't there any more, all he wanted was everything to go back to normal, and alec would be downstairs enjoying breakfast with his family, jace couldn't control it anymore. Tears started to fall down his cheeks"i sorry mum and dad, I'm going to miss breakfast today, I love you, and you, little Maxy" jace smiled at max and walked to the door. "I'm going to see if Alec is OK..." jace walked out of the dining room and went to alec's room, his door was locked and he would hears sobbs coming from the room. Alec was leaning against the door, his back to the door, and his legs to his chest, "Alec?" jace said softly from the outside of the door. There was no response, only tears from the inside. "Alec please, I just want to be there for you" jace said starting to cry. "I'm sorry jace" Alec said from the inside still not opening the door. "I think it's better if you just go back down stairs and enjoy breakfast" Alec's voice was breaking, "please alec, just let me inside and we can talk about it..." tears were running down jace's cheeks and falling onto his white t-shirt, sinking into his his t-shirt. There was still no response, "I love you Alec, I'm going to go downstairs now..." jace said breaking down. He was used to this, alec and jace's relationship was getting worse and worse, was there anything that could fix it? "..... OK....." Alec said leaning his head into his knees. Jace walked downstairs and into the dining room. Maryse, Robert, and max all looked up, "what happened?" Robert asked and got up from his seat and hugged jace, "it's getting worse and worse" jace said sobbing into Robert's shoulder, "please....go to alec and calm him" jace said, still crying. Max and maryse got up from their seats and went to hug jace, "I'll go, you all wait here, I'll be back in a few minutes" Robert said calmly and walked out of the dining room and up the stairs. "will it ever get better?" jace asked hugging max and maryse, "I don't know, sweatheart, but I do know, that one day everything will be better, we just have to get though the bad parts first" maryse said gently smiling. Jace started to calm down again, and stopped crying. "thanks mum" jace said, gently smiling. Jace, maryse and max pulled apart and went and sat back down at the table. "I hope Alec is OK.." max said, holding maryse and jace's hand. "OK course it will be, darling maryse said, and all started to eat breakfast while they waited for Robert to return. Robert gently knocked on Alec's door," Alec it's me, dad" Robert said as gently as he could. All he could here was sobbs coming through the room, "oh Alec" Robert said. Just then, the door started to open slowly, Robert could see Alec next to his drawer, holding on for support, Alec didn't have enough strenth in his legs any more so he started to collapse, until he felt to arms rap around his body, it was Robert, he gently placed Alec down on the floor, and was now sitting next to Alec comforting him. "Alec, close your eyes and take deep Breathes for 3 second in and out, like I told you". Alec listened and closed his eyes and started taking deep breathes in and out, Robert knew how to take care of Alec, he had alot of experiences with Alec, so he got better at knowing what to do. A few minutes later, Alec had calmed down and know what just focusing on his breathe. Robert was still there next to him, making sure he was OK. "do you feel any better?" Robert asked concerned. "y..ye....yes..."alec said, stuttering. Alec was used to having panic attacks and melting down alot. He was use to it because of HIM." why don't we focus on something else" Robert
said, trying to distracted Alec, so he wouldnt get another panic attack. "y.. yes.. p... please.... That w.. would help" Alec said, still taking deep breathes. "OK..... Well, I got a call earlier this morning, and I know who your dance partner is...." Robert said calmly. "really?!" Alec said surprised, "yup" Robert started to smile, "who is it?" Alec asked curiously. "your dance partner is Magnus Bane" Robert said grinning. Alec's jaw dropped.
