"Luke."
"Luke."
"Luke."
"Luke."
"Luke."
"Lu-"
"WHAT PERCE? NEXT TIME LET ME ANSWER!" Luke exploded, making me jump. He wasn't normally in such a bad mood as this, so I guessed he wasn't doing so well in his game. We were chilling in my cabin, playing games on my PS4s and Xboxes, while the rain poured relentlessly outside. I paused my game and looked over at his.

As I predicted, he was losing on fifa 19. I smirked then went back to my own game, where I was winning 8-1.

After about half an hour we decided not to stay inside, and went to play in the rain. Incase you wondering why it's raining in camphalfblood, some of the kids pestered Dionysus to let them have rain for a day.

"Hey have you got a coat I can borrow? Mine's still soaked from walking the 150 meters to your cabin." I sighed then handed Luke my own coat.
"What are you going to do without a coat?" Luke asked, holding my coat but not putting it on.

"Who am I the son of?"
"Posi-Oh yeah. I'm stupid sometimes." I smirked then opened the door.
"I know." He rolled his eyes at my comment then pulled my coat on.

I ran straight to the biggest puddle and started jumping in it making as much water go everywhere as I could.

Then Luke walked out of my cabin and I cackled when I saw what he was wearing. My old goggles which were too small for him. He wandered over to my puddle and stood at the side watching me being an immature 16 year old.

"Guess what im doing?" I asked Luke.
"Your being you?" He guessed. I shook my head, smiling inwardly.
"I'm jumping up and down in muddy puddles!" I exclaimed, half laughing at my own reference.
"...Perce...did you just quote Peppa Pig?"
"Maybe." He rolled his eyes further than I thought possible and started laughing.

"Come in! It's fun!" I yelled to Luke, who shook his head, grinning. So I made the puddle extend to reach him, the way you do. He rolled his eyes again but reluctantly started bouncing, realising how fun it was.

15 minutes later however, Luke was bored, and so was I. So I grabbed his hand, and dragged him through the woods. I stopped in a clearing and took his goggles off. I then chucked them away, smirking at the look on his face. I took his hand again, and led him through the woods, more gently this time. We emerged from the woods near Zeus' fist, which I pulled him to, then up. We sat on the very top boulder looking over camp, and the rain that was still falling, more gently now though.

Gradually the rain came to a stop, and the sun came out. We sat side by side looking over the glistening camp, the puddles now shining in the sunlight, and I saw a bedraggled seagull sitting on a tree which ruined it a bit.

Suddenly Luke nudged my arm and pointed over to my right, where a beautiful rainbow was arcing across the sky, getting bigger and brighter with every second. I leaned over and kissed Luke lightly on the lips, smiling as the sun shone brighter behind him, illuminating his blond hair, making it shine golden.

Nothing can get more special than this, a perfect camp, a perfect day, a perfect rainbow, and a perfect relationship.

I looked at Luke and he looked at me. I knew we were both thinking the same thing.
