ARIES’ POV

Three days, changes take place after spotting her image, searching about her, getting engrossed of the thought of seeing her. I don’t know but I feel that she needs somebody right now and she needs some comfort.

Ahh you’re getting melodramatic Aries Matthews..get a grip of yourself.

Reading a newspaper on page 13, announcement catches my attention saying that De Vone is going to have a concert tonight in the largest city of Michigan, in a fluid but swift manner, I dress up in a jiffy and drive my car with only one direction on my eager mind.

Driving 220 km per hour, I can hardly hear the machine of this Ferrari car, and I am indeed over speeding this very moment. But why the hurry Aries? My sinew hands which held a supernatural power are on the steering wheel, while letting my right one drives while I reach for my stereo with my left hand just in time my Iphone 4S mobile phone rings.

Heck.

It’s my omnipresent little sister, Savannah. I touch the answer button only to hear her say, “where do you think you’re going?”, making me form a frown on my features. Who does she think she is, a henpecking mother, no, she’s just my little sister.

“Do you have to know?” I answer her sarcastically. I hear a sigh from her and she replies me in the same manner, “oh, I guess I don’t have to know.”

I arch my dark eyebrows before answering her, “what?”

“Brother, Detroit is a long way drive, I don’t know why you didn’t even use our private jet.” Savannah comments coolly.

Wait. How did she know it?

It seems Savannah read my thought, which in truth she can only read the past and answers me in a certain manner, “I saw it on the newspaper.”

Damn. There’s no use in denying, “Wait, how did you know it was her?” Oh nonsense.

I can’t see her but I know she’s rolling her eyeballs again before she speaks, “of course you already knew why, besides, I recognized her voice I heard from your room and I searched her when I remembered a verse from one of her songs, you know I know a lot about surfing stuffs, internet etc.”, and she even brags.

“Surfing? You know how to surf?” I foolishly ask before I can stop myself.

“Heck, it’s surfing the internet, searching, not the one you’re thinking, oh I forgot there’s no such word during your time, my apologies big bro.” And she chuckles on the other line.

Hell. I suddenly feel so ancient.I didn’t answer her but ask her in a harsh way to cover up my embarrassment, “what? You said the jet?”

“Yeah, there’s one remaining.” She informs me teasingly.

Oh.

We have ten private planes so far and I know that all of them are being used by my cousins to engage in some business in different parts of the world. Such a luck.

“So are you going to use it?” She asks me coolly.

“Damn, you know well enough, I would.” I reply to her mindlessly.

“Fine, you know she looked like--”

I cut her off, I already knew what she’s going to say anyway, “I’m going and one more reminder, don’t ever read my memories again.” And end the call without even waiting for her answer. I swing the car to change direction, back to home.

Back to our house, I was welcomed with my cousins who are obviously just arrived, they greet me and invite me to have some booze, I refuse them but they are so persistent, eventually I give up while look at my wristwatch, it’s still early though.
