Authors note- I hope you like this, I ditched my last piece cause it was kinda terrible and made no sense, I hope this is a lot better than that one. I don't own most of the characters but some of them are ones that I came up with. 🖤

You stood in the crowd of first years just like you. They were all only about 4 - 5 feet tall, even though you were slightly shorter than most of the others.
An older woman who you learned was Professor McGonagall explained how the sorting hat worked and began calling names to come and sit on a chair so they could be sorted by the sorting hat, what looked to be an old raggedy witches hat. She called Hermione Granger, Gryffindor. And then Draco Malfoy, a cute blonde boy with a huge smirk on his face, "Slytherin!" The hat called as the boy's smirk was enlarged into a full smile. Zuzu something, Hufflepuff. Ron Weasley, Gryffindor. Harry Potter, the "Special Boy" was put into Gryffindor. Your heart pounded so loud you thought the whole school could hear it as her name was called. You stood up and hesitantly made your way to the chair and sat down. McGonagall lowered the hat onto your head and you squeezed her eyes shut please be Slytherin with the cute boy you thought. "Slytherin!" the hat shouted and you opened your eyes and smiled, as the whole Slytherin table cheered. You exchanged eye contact with Malfoy and your eyes quickly shot back to her feet.
The sorting ceremony was over and students began dispersing into their dormitories. You shared a room with three other girls, Pansy Parkinson, Olivia Sparrow, and Lyla Hunnefield. They were alright, but you particularly liked Pansy, she seemed pretty chill.

It was a few days later and were in potions class with Professor Snape. You sat next to Pansy as she was one of the only friends you had at the moment apart from your other roommates and a girl from Gryffindor named Iris. You didn't like Snape very much, he seemed quite sketchy and he always had a really monotone voice almost like he was stoned 24/7. There were a few times where you almost fell asleep in class... oops...
Draco Malfoy and one other random girl were sitting behind you both. the girl didn't seem too interested in him nor was he interested in her, and that was good, because you wanted him. You wanted him really bad. He's adorable!!!
