(Scaggot)
As soon as all the lights went off, he made his move. Quickly and silently he slipped in the door just before it closed behind the lunch lady. Once he was inside, he took the key from its place and opened the freezer. Hastily, he stuffed as much food as he could carry in his duffel without arousing suspicion. After nearly ten minutes, he backed out of the cooler slowly, making sure everything looked intact.
(CLANG!)
A loud sound made him jump. He turned to find a saucepan on the floor, he must've pushed it off the counter with his bag. "Fuck that scared me." He muttered to himself as he picked it up and put it back in its place. He'd been on edge ever since that troublesome girl caught him. After he managed to get his pulse in check, he replaced the keys in the drawer and slipped out of the kitchen successfully.
Scaggot let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as he walked farther away from the kitchen. These nightly outings were beginning to take a toll on his nerves. Stealing was the crime that got him locked up in the first place, but at least he had the cover of darkness to aid him.
He walked briskly through the woods and towards the main school campus. Once he arrived, he made his way over towards a large boulder that protruded from the ground. After checking that no one was following him, he lifted a part of the fence that surrounded the campus and slipped the duffel underneath, before crawling through himself. Once he'd made it to the bungalows, he cupped his hands together and blew into them to produce the secret whistle.
Seconds later, a distant cawing affirmed they received the signal. When he reached the large music room, he knocked twice then hit the doorknob with his pocketknife, producing a high-pitched ring. The door unlocked, revealing a grinning Randall on the other side.
"Damn, took you long enough!" He exclaimed before fist bumping his superior and stepping aside so he could enter. After making sure no one saw them, he closed the door. Tyler and Charlie sat on the stage, having a sword fight with a couple of flutes. Violet and Mara— another Sargent, sat on chairs below them, filing each other's nails.
"Don't tell me you almost got caught again." Violet began, exasperation clear in her tone. Scaggot shook his head and placed the duffel by her feet. "I got you the fruit you wanted." He said as she rummaged around in the bag. A hungry smile spread across her lips as she picked up a box of blueberries.
"You didn't forget my pudding, did you?" Charlie called as everyone took a turn leafing through the contents. Scaggot walked over and leaned against the stage, his back and sides still ached from the confrontation he had with Croy no more than a few weeks ago.
"I can't believe you let him humiliate you like that." Violet muttered as she tossed a blueberry in her mouth.
"I didn't exactly let him Vie, that ex-boyfriend of yours is a fucking psycho!" Scaggot retorted. Violet put down the box of berries and stood up. "When are we gonna hook up? You promised if I taught that little bitch a lesson, you'd be my girl." Scaggot began, his heart speeding up when Violet stopped just inches away from him, her amethyst eyes piercing through his cool-guy facade.
"I told you to teach her a lesson, not forcefully bang her!" She hissed.
"Then what the hell were you expecting me to do!?"
"I don't know, cut her, beat her, something!" She shouted. Scaggot retracted into himself. Violet was scary when she was mad. In fact, she was scary most of the time. She must have noticed his anxiety, because she softened her tone and placed a pointed, black nail beneath his chin.
"The only way for us to be together, is to put Croy in his place. The only way to do that, is to hit him where it hurts the most. You deserve this." She whispered as she circled him. Chills ran up the Sargent's spine as she placed her hands on his shoulders and began massaging him. "You deserve to have your revenge. I could've been yours first, but he took that away from you." She instigated before leaning in and licking his ear.
Heat coursed through Scaggot's body as he turned around and locked his lips with hers. His world spun and excitement coursed through him as she explored his mouth. He loved this girl, psychotic tendencies and all. He'd loved her since the first day she'd arrived. Croy knew about it and instead of helping, he betrayed their friendship and tried keeping her for himself.
Well that wasn't going to happen again. He wrapped his hand around her waist and pressed her against that wall. Everybody stepped out as if on cue, leaving the pair alone in the music room. Twenty minutes later, the pair walked out. Scaggot combed his fingers through his hair as Violet fixed her wrinkled shirt. "See you tomorrow beautiful." He said with a smile before licking his lips, savoring the left-over remnants of her Chapstick. Charlie, Tyler and Randall followed behind as Scaggot led them back towards the camp.
Violet met up with Mara right outside the door. The brunette Sargent puffed away at her fag as she watched her friend wipe her face with the back of her hand. "Please tell me you didn't give it to him." She muttered as she took another drag. Violet rolled her eyes.
"Of course not! I just gave him a taste, so he'll keep coming back." She assured as she took the cigarette from her friend and inhaled deeply.
"I don't know. That guy really seems to like you. He's also dangerous, I wouldn't play around with him too much if I were you." She warned as she ran her fingers through her thick bob.
"Ugh, you know I don't give a fuck about him!" Violet huffed before taking one last drag. "You've known my objective from the start. I just need him to get rid of that leech so I can sink my claws back into Croy..." she trailed off.
"Are you sure he's gonna go for it? I mean you two didn't exactly split on the best terms. You tried to kill Allison because she was hugging him." Violet scoffed.
"Oh please, it's not like I did anything to her, she's just too sensitive!" She retorted.
"You're also trying to get rid of the new girl just because she's his drill partner." Mara replied before tossing the cig on the floor and stepping on it.
"This is different, there's something off about her, I can feel it!" Mara nodded.
"I'll give you that one. She's not an average girl, that's why I think it's over. You've already lost Violet." She told her before putting on her Sargent's cap.
"What the hell do you mean?" Violet asked, her blood beginning to boil.
"The way he looks at her, he never looked at you that way. As your friend, I advise you to quit while you're ahead. Have a little dignity Vie..." She trailed off before sticking her hands in her pocket and walking away.
(Oof. That's gotta hurt. Mara seems to be making some sort of sense, no? Thank you guys for getting this far. You're all incredible. Muah!)
