Virgil's POV

I was sitting in my room secretly reading a book and listening to MCR since I was relaxing and letting Thomas have a lowered anxiety day. I needed to have a down day to myself, since I had a lot to things to think about. I was listening to my favorite song, I'm Not Okay [I promise], by MCR when I heard a small knock at the door. I rushed and hid the book, thinking it was Logan and he would be mad if he found out I "borrowed" one of his books. I put the book away and pulled out one of my headphones out of my ears and answered the door. I was expecting to see a fuming Logan but instead I saw the beautiful man I love, Patton. I smiled slightly inside but no one besides Logan knew I liked him, so I put on my tough act. I said

"Yes, Patton? Do you need something?" I said trying to sound slightly annoyed.

"Um, well no kiddo but I wanted to give you this since it's your one-year anniversary of being part of the sides, tomorrow. I know it's tomorrow, but I wanted to give it to you today."

I took the purple and black wrapped box and smiled.

"Thanks Pop star. You are the only one who actually remembered." I said.

I wanted to hug him, but he did it first. I tensed up at first then relaxed and hugged the shorter male. He was so cute.

He pulled away and said I'm gonna bring you cookies tomorrow! You deserved them!"

I said, "Thanks Patton."

and closed the door. The tag on the present said 'Just a small upgrade, though you would like this one and not Panic! At it.' With a small heart with glasses beside it. He just made a pun out of another one of my favorite singers, Panic! At the Disco. God, I love this man. I decided to open the box to find a whole outfit, it was a purple, torn, looking shirt, black ripped jeans, black vans, and a little bag with my logo on it which is a purple and black storm cloud with a lightning bolt. I opened the bag to find a new black hoodie with some purple and black checker patterned patches with fake white stitches. It also had my logo on the chest area and on the zipper. I fell in love with this outfit. There was a small note at the bottom saying 'Hope you will wear this instead of the black you normally do, not that your black isn't beautiful. It's just you looked like you could use some color.' And this is why I love that man so much, he gets me.
