Virgil x Patton

It's okay

I tried on the clothes and everything fit, so I folded it up on my bed and decided to wear it tomorrow. I went back to my relaxing zone to start reading again, when suddenly I got a strong feeling, it felt like Thomas was having anxiety, but I haven't done anything, plus this feeling didn't exactly feel human, it felt like one of the other sides was having anxiety. I walked out my room and down the hall to pass each room. I passed Logan's room and stood there to see if the feeling was stronger coming from his room, not here clearly. I walked passed Roman and stood there to do the same, EW, no. I'm starting to feel love, I need to get out of here. I walked to Patton's room, and then it hit me. This was the place. Patton was the one feeling down. I knocked and heard a small sniffle, the door slightly opened, and I saw a teary-eyed Patton. I fully opened the door and Patton smiled, though I could tell he was only doing it to seem fine, when in reality, he was hurting, I just don't know from what. I just waked over and hugged him, he hugged back weakly and said

"What's wrong kiddo? What happened?" I just pulled away and said

"I could feel something wrong. What's wrong Patton?" I said worrisome. He just said "Oh, everything is okay kiddo.

"Don't lie to me. I am literally the embodiment of anxiety and sadness." I replied.

I knew something was wrong. I could tell, he was my Patton. He means the world to me so I want to know what happened. Patton just looked at me and sighed

"Oh, I guess you're right. I just haven't felt listened to in a while, recently Thomas has been listening to Roman and Logan. You and I just kinda got pushed to the side. Does Thomas want to replace me?" he said tearing up again.

I felt like my heart broke in two. I hugged him once again and just held him there. I lifted the smaller male bridal style and carried him to his couch and laid him down.

"Of course, not Patton, Thomas loves us just as much as the others. He just is working on his career and things like that. Of course, he still needs us. You saw what happened when I clocked out, Thomas needs all of us to work together, sometimes he needs to listen to the others a bit more depending on his situation." I said to comfort him.

I will talk to Thomas later but for now I need to focus on Patton. I went to go walk away from him to get him some pillows, but he gripped my legs and wouldn't let me move, so I turn to him and he just says in the softest voice

"Will you stay with me Virgil?" I couldn't say no, his tear-filled eyes and tear stained cheeks made it impossible.
