Chapter 1

Ten more minutes I can leave this place it's like it matters I maybe free from but I will never escape where I am now it's been seven years since it's happen. using the word it has been the only thing can say to keep myself from breaking down and crying. I can't even go home I have no home to go to I have been to 12 fosters home seen it had happened everyone keeps telling me I will find where i will feel safe and happy and i will forget my parents. After my parents died in the car crash seven years ago everyone has told me that it maybe bad but you will forget about it. But that's not true I remember everyday of my life.

The bell rang a loud cheer of students cries though the hallways to the main exit I walked five minutes and then saw Cathy's new SUV. "So how was your day"? Cathy asked "It was O.K", I lied school was never "ok" but fine and were the only words I say to Cathy daily. Cathy is not a bad person she is one of the only foster parents who i don't hate and don't hate me she very sweet when I first moved in with her she saw I didn't have a lot of clothes but I turned her down I didn't want her to think I was selfish she lives in a nice white house far from the school. She works at the bank and mostly works late so I am home alone a lot. Cathy's husband died at war that's what she said when I asked her. 

The next day I took the bus to school because Cathy said she had to get to work that there was a problem. I took the bus tickets and my ripped up backpack and walked to the bus stop as I was walking I had a feeling that I was being followed I looked over my shoulder and saw a guy in a black lather jacket and brown hair running away. I was thinking of running after him but I would have been late to school and then got detention and have to spend more time in that prison.
