It was your 5 year anniversary with only the best man in the entire world. Dirk Strider. You were so happy you were his. He completed your life. You were both into the same things and he understood you when no one else did. It wasn't until you and Dirk started hanging out with John's dad Jake that you two distanced yourselves. You became a third wheel which mad you welled up with depression. You always talked to Dave about it when it happened.
"Just stay positive. Jake's a douche, and my bro is in the wrong. There's nothing wrong with you (F/N). If it happens again you know where to find me."
Dave's words bounced around in your head. It got to the point when Dirk wanted to hang out with you, and Jake was going to be there with you guys, you'd kindly tell him no, that you were busy. Once Dirk left to get Jake you'd go listen to Dave make some sick beats and drink some AJ like it was freaking Christmas or something.
You were walking to the park when you bumped into Dirk. As you went to give him a kiss, he goes ninja all over you and runs to be behind you.
"Dude. Really? We're not strifing so stop moving." You said aggravated with the swerve he just made.
"Loooook....Um (F/N), We're through. Okay? We're both single pringles now. Sooo if you'll excuse me I'm going to go find Jake. Cya!"
Dirk ran off, leaving you there, shocked, confused, and in tears. You ran to the Strider residence to go see Dave. Maybe he'd know what's going on.
