Chap 3 - New Student (Part 2)

Soobin POV

In the 3rd period, when lecturing almost half an hour started Mr.Kang says we will be having a new student. Talking about a new student, I suddenly remembered what Yeonjun said about his friend. I wonder if he (Yeonjun's friend) will be the new student. I personally never see his picture because Yeonjun never shows to me. We both looking at each other as give the same question. Then, Mr.Kang let the boy came in. Everyone in the class was busy talking about him. I see the boy's face and then look at Yeonjun, he looking so shocked and says to me that he is the friend that Yeonjun talks about. Wow, I can't believe that his friends are really going to study at our school. The boy introduces himself as HueningKai. What a unique name he has, I see him looking at our direction and suddenly I feel my heart beating fast. "What's wrong with my heart?" I admit that he is kinda handsome and cute? After he took his seat he waving at Yeonjun and I feel like he's eyes also look at me. "OMG, my cheeks feel hot". I've got to control myself while touching my both cheeks.

3rd POV

Lecturing is continued as usual until recess time. (*KringKring) bell is ringing and has shown it is time for lunch. All the student's sprint went out to the canteen. Beomgyu and Taehyun already got their food and seat. Beomgyu saw Soobin with his friends heading toward them with their food too. He noticed that his hyung bring somebody and he never saw the boy before. Three of them take a seat. Soobin sits in the middle between Kai and Yeonjun and opposite to Beomgyu and Taehyun.

Soobin: "Anyeong! Beomgyu ah, Taehyun ah" with his smiley face. I brought my other friend if you don't mind? 

Beomgyu: No, we don't mind though.

Soobin: He's Yeonjun's best friend and him new here. His name is HueningKai, you two can call him Kai. I hope you all can get along well.

Kai: Hi, nice to meet two of you! I hope we can be friends!😄 

Yeonjun: Nice! and now let's eat!

Five of them eating quietly. Soobin sometimes steal a glance at Kai. Kai seems to notice but pretend to not see it. Then, Beomgyu notices something on Soobin cheeks. "Oh," "Hyung, you have rice on your right cheeks" while want to take the rice suddenly, Kai faster than him and take the rice and throw away. "Done!" said Kai. Soobin blush when Kai's finger touch his cheeks. Beomgyu pulls his hand back. In his heart, he feels a bit disappointed. "Why, my heart suddenly feels heavy when I look those two?" "They just a friend and nothing more than that. Moreover, the kid just new here." "Maybe I'm being an overreaction," his heart says. Beomgyu let the thought slide away. Recess time is over and five of them walk to their own classroom. While Beomgyu and Taehyun walking in the hallway, Taehyun sees his friend's sour face and decide to ask him why even though he already knows the reason.

Taehyun: Hey, Beom ah. Are you okay? 

Beomgyu: Hmm? What? of course I'm okay. Why asking?

Taehyun: I see what happened earlier. That's why I asking.

Beomgyu: *Sigh. I dunno what to feel Taehyunnah. My heart keeps saying that I don't like that Soobin hyung's new friend. Something tells me it doesn't feel right. I don't want to say that I am jealous. Because they just met right? what can be wrong?. Moreover, he is closer to hyung than me so that's why he took it instead of me.☹

Taehyun: Hmm.. maybe you being too over emotional. In logically, of course, Kai hyung should take it because he is near to Soobin hyung. Don't get to pressure Beom ah. I really sure there is nothing between them. (*patting Beomgyu shoulder).
