Welcoming the storm

Anushree's pov :

Sitting in my room, I was thinking about the recent tragedy that happened in my life.. How I failed in the exams was a puzzle cum shock that hitted me very hard... Anyways what can I do now, the worst had already happened.... Nothing can change now.... My father after my results went back to his work.. He was devastated by seeing the marks... It is obvious when your parents are working hard for you and providing all the facilities rather enjoying themselves... It's a slap when you are not able to fulfill their wishes... Right now I am feeling disgusted... I should have work hard...

Thinking about my parents, tears started flowing down... Better not to waste time I decided that I will study hard till I reach my goal...

At evening

My aunt and my cousins are sitting in the living room and flipping channels in television... They were very happy and were excited to get ready for the marriage of my big brother from my father's sister's son. Let me introduce my bua (father's sister).. My father have three sisters - aruna, naina and alpana... Aruna had an elder son, Raj and two beautiful daughters, riya and siya

Naina bua had two sons, pritam and abhi

Alpana bua is the youngest daughter of the chowdhury generation... She had two daughters, nivi and niya.. I'm not so fond of any one of them as I didn't get time to spend with them... I always have a negative vibes coming from all the members of our family.. Don't know I am right or not but it's my instinct...

After three weeks there will be an arranged marriage of Raj bhaiya with the youngest daughter of Shah family, shona Shah... I was not at all interested in all these things but can't do anything.. I was focused to study hard this time..

Few days passed, marriage celebrations were at the peek... Everyone was deeply engrossed in the functions.. All were running here and there.. My uncle decided that marriage should take place from our family house since its a very big house it is not a big deal... I know my aruna bua was very selfish.. She will not spend a single penny from her purse.. Good for nothing always showing her crocodile tears in front of all.. So my father decided to take everything on his shoulder.. Disgusting I have her... Selfish bitch

That night

I was fully engrossed in the studies.. Suddenly there was a hustling sound nearby.. I can't predict from where did the sound came but after some time it stopped... Good it stopped.. I should better focus on my studies but curiosity kills.. I wore my slippers and started taking slow steps down the stairs when my eyes opened wide filled with horror first time in my life never ever saw such a thing... Sweating badly I slowly went back to my room without noticedby anyone..
