Pidge (fluff) request

Nerd🌎💞: hey, y/n, would you like to go to the fair with me? Keith, Lance, Shiro, Coran, and Hunk will be there, but it might be fun for us?

Your heart sped up quickly as you received a message from you're girlfriend, Pidge. You thought it'd be fun, and you couldnt help but swoon a bit imagining all the cute things you two could do. Your thumbs danced on your keypad as you messaged her back.

You: heck yeah, I'm in!

That was about 2 hours ago, you and pidge had been wandering around for a couple hours as the sun began to set. You saw her face light up as she noticed a Ring Toss game with a massive green lion plushy, you branced yourself for her overwhelming excitement.

"Oh my God! I need it!" She shouted, her eyes shined in the lights above the game. Heat crept up your face and a red tint dusted your cheeks.

"How much?" She asked the alien at the stand, her hands clenched tightly around the four tokens she had left.

"Five tokens for one game." He replied, his hand motioning towards the bottles you were supposed to throw the rings on.

"I only have four." The brown eyed girl said as she looked to the golden coins in her palm dissapointedly.

You smiled, gently placing one of your last 2 coins in her hands with them looking over at her sweetly.

The look on her face just made you swoon, her lips stretching into the cutest grin. The heat in your cheeks multiplying by one thousand.

She handed the tokens to the man and he gave her a few red rings, about the size of a teacup plate. She looked over at you with a smile before throwing the first ring. She landed it. Second ring, she landed it. 3rd ring, she landed it. Last ring, landed it.

She laughed as she punched the air in excitement. Her cute face lighting up as the man handed her the 3 foot green lion plushy, the stuffed animal engulfing her. You admired her cute hair as she jumped up and down as they walked back to shiro, lance, and the rest of the group.

"Guys look what I won!" She shouts, shiro chuckling at her goofy attitude.

"That's awesome." Lance said as he admired the large stuffy. You really wanted to hold it, it just looked so soft and it was like a moth drawn to a flame.

"Can I carry it, Pidge?" You ask, holding your hands out, she gives you a smirk before plopping the heavy stuffed animal in your arms with a huff.

You smirked as you and her began walking with the whole group.

"Oh, wanna go on the Ferris Wheel before we leave?" She asked pointing to the large brightly lit wheel of death- I mean Ferris Wheel that stood in front of the group.

You nodded quickly as you shoved the stuffed lion onto shiro's chest, him accepting his fate as you, pidge, Keith, and lance sped walked towards the wheel, Keith handing the operator enough coins for all four of you.

Lance and Keith hopped on the first one together and you and pidge on the one after them.

You were so excited to ride it with her, she was so sweet and adorable and she just made your heart flip. The relationship wasn't too much between you two. You kinda just acted like friends, except you gave each other nicknames.

You wanted to try to do a little more with your girlfriend but even if you wanted to you were just so fucking nervous that she wouldn't accept your gesture.

You sat down and pulled the bar on your lap and pidge did aswell.

She looked over and smiled at you as the wheel started move. She scooted closer to you, and rested her hand on the seat as her beautiful brown eyes grazed the surface of the fair's lights, you wanted to lean in and kiss her so badly, but you knew that would be moving too fast.

You laid your hand gently on hers, her skin felt soft and made you wanna lean into her more. And so you did, you laid your head on her shoulder and your face heated. Honestly you had no idea how you'd worked up the courage to do this, you'd never think of it without getting super flustered.

The thought of your relationship with Pidge escalating made you heart race.

But then she leaned in too, laying her head on yours gently as you both looked out onto the beautiful lights and booths, all of them clashing in a very beautiful way you couldnt describe. She gripped onto your hand and held it.

Your heart did a flip. After such a long time you were finally with the girl of your dreams, your story book felt complete. You just wanted that moment to last forever. Hearing her heart beat in sync with yours just reassured you that everything in life would be okay. And with her you felt like life would be amazing.

She was just so perfect in your eyes, and you were certain nothing would ever change your mind.

You wrapped her arm around you, her other hand grabbing the hand she'd abandoned, the warmth of her body making your head spin and the smell she radiated drove you crazy. Everything in that moment was perfect, and honestly you werent mad that you could hear lance and Keith arguing in front of you.

You were just glad to be in her arms, it was so comforting and you wouldnt change a single thing.

Suddenly, as you reached the peak of the fairis wheel, a it hit a bump and youd been stranded at the top.

"Please sit tight, we're having a technical difficulty!" You heard someone yell from below the wheel through a megaphone.

Your heart stopped and you pressed yourself into your girlfriend even more. The wheel being stuck filled you with anxiety and you could feel yourself start shaking. That was until pidge squeezed you in her arm a bit.

God you were so head over heels for you that you could be bleeding out, and if she'd said 'you wont die' you physically wouldnt die.

You snuggled into her, the sound of her heart calming your nerves as you eyes fell heavy, your conciousness drifting slowly from you.

You fell asleep.

You felt pidge shake you gently, and you tiredly opened your eyes, your head still against her chest.

"Y/n, wake up, the ride is moving." She whispered as you felt the cart of the wheel move. You were still pretty groggy, your fists rubbed your eyes as you sat up looking around.

You smiled, seeing the ground approaching. When the ride finally reached the ground they let you off and you looked over at shiro who'd been waiting for you guys to get off.

"How long were we up there?" You ask, cocking your head.

"About an hour" shiro replied rubbing the back of his neck as you took the green lion from his arms. You smiled.

"Well, that was an experience." Pidge said pushing her glasses up her nose and grabbing hold of your hand once more. Every doubt in your body wash away as hunk, lance, Keith, and coran soon approach, all of them looking exhausted.

Seems lance and Keith had gotten stuck on the ride and didnt enjoy it much, and coran and hunk were holding cotton candy.

Hunk handed you some, you grabbed it, doing your best to hold pidge's hand and the stuffy all at once. You heard her snort before taking the cotton candy.

"Here, let me hold it for you." She insisted, feeding you a bit of it.

The group soon got back to the van, yes van.

You and pidge sat in the back seats together, lance, Keith, and hunk in the middle row and coran and shiro in the front. Pidge squeezed your hand lightly, laying her head on your shoulder as coran turned up the radio, Lights by Ellie Goulding playing quietly. Rain soon began to trinkle on the roof of the car.

You laid your head on pidge, feeling her soft light brown hair on your cheek. Her shampoo smelled so good. This was the moment you really wanted to last forever. It was perfect. You, pidge, and
The plush lion. She was so warm. You dozed off soon after, every problem in your life fading away like a memory.
