Its one word with so much meaning, Alex will never fly. Thats what the doctors told my parents. This seemed like such a big deal at the time. Im the first human who cant fly, and its like being told you will never walk, talk, or see. But now that I look back at where I was, and where I am now, its not really so bad. I can remember being told that I’ll never be attending school, never be interacting with the other children, and most importantly I’ll never have any real chance at a normal like. My parents carted me off to one of their safe-houses because-
“Thats very good Alex but we really need to move on with the other students presentations”
“But Mr. Rick, I was just getting to the best part.”
“Alex, we had this exact same problem last week. Just because I ask you to share your essay doesn’t mean that you need to recite your entire life story.”
“True, my stories can get rather lengthy but-”
“Just shut up and sit down Alex, now.”
“Yes Mr. RIck.”
“You just got told by a teacher, and it was Mr. Rick too!”
“Screw you Josh”
“Love you too buddy.”
