Wow, long time no see I'm not titling these anymore so yay!!Ding......ding...ding, ding, ding. That's all I heard as I rubbed my sleep-ridden eyes and slowly sat up. I lifted my phone up off the floor, where It always lays on weekends and checked the time. 11:30 it read, wow new record for earliest wake up so far into the school year. I was about to lay back down before I heard a knock at the door, but not just any door, my bedroom door. Panic-stricken I jumped out of my bed and got dressed as fast as I could. I threw on some Black, ripped jeans with a striped crop top, and a jean jacket.
"Hello? Emma, it's Vivy just thought you would like to know that your friend is in the living room." I heard her footsteps fade into the distance.
Friend? Which friend I only have 2 and one of them I've been ignoring. I opened the door revealing my cousin Nikki standing in a fashionable outfit as always. She was wearing some black and white Nike's with a pink sweater and some light jeans.
"Oh, Hey Nikki didn't expect to see you here," I expressed with shock visible in my voice.
"Yeah, I thought, I should come to visit my little cousin, see how she's fitting in," she explained.
"You sure that's it?" I questioned.
It was unlike her to just pop up unannounced so I suspected there was something more.
"No, I was coming over here to go to my friend's party but decided to drop by and... " she paused. "was wondering if you would like to come with me?"
I was taken aback, anyone who truly knows me, knows that I don't party let alone hang out with people. So to hear these words come out of her mouth was surprising, to say the least. It took a few moments to respond until I remebered that Makena had told me about the said party. Realizing that Mak was going to be there I decided to say yes.
"Yay! The party starts at 10:00 which gives you, what? 10 hours to get ready, which should be plenty of time," she explained.
"Wait, what do you mean get ready I'm just going like this," I replied.
At first, she laughed, but when she realized that I wasn't laughing, pure horror struck her face.
"Omg! Do you actually mean that? No way were going shopping and I'm going to show you how you're supposed to party," she exclaimed.
Seeing there was no way out I decided to grab my converse and let her drag me to the car. I reluctantly got in the car and she turned on her music.
----
After what felt like 6 hours of shopping, we made it back to the house. I decided that since it was 3:00 I was going to lay down on my bed, relax, and tell Mak that I was coming. Sadly, my cousin had other plans. Since today was like are cousin bonding day, she decided to bring me along to her hair appointment to get her dye redone. When I say that I have never been so bored in my life I mean it. All she did was talk to her hairdresser about shallow and stupid stuff.
Her hair appointment had finally ended after an hour so it was finally freedom time. When we got to the dorm I told her how to work the T.V and that she can try hanging out with my roommates. I practically jumped on my bed, and when I opened my phone I saw two notifications. One from Mak and One from Aunt Jess, I answered aunt Jesses text first.
