"Yeah I guess you could say that." I was walking around my room on the phone with Lathan. He tryna book a flight to come down but I'm kinda hesitant.
"What's the school name? I'm foreal enrolling."
My cheeks burn at what he said. I don't know why but I'm nervous for him to come down here. "Where you gon stay? Nick is living with me and ion think he wants you around." I bite my nails while I speak.
"Fuck Nick. Matter fact, imma buy a house and me and you can stay there." I stop walking and my mouth hangs open. "Huh?"
"hUh?" He mocks me. "I'm buying a house and you living with me. End of story." He hangs up before I could even breath. He calls again.
"Yes?"
" I need the school name."
"Nioma high."

"Hi." A girl sits next to me smiling.
"Uh. Hey."
"My names Lexi. What's yours?"
"Diamond"
Me and Lexi talked all period. She sat with me at lunch but she can't be as close as me and Tokyo were. I can't afford to lose someone else I love.
"Oh so you got a new friend? She ain't even cute."
I just sigh in disgust as I see a bitch walk over. She had two little dumb-ass minions by her side.
"Do every bitch gotta fucking bone to pick with me?" I sigh. She smiles and leans over.
"And if I do bitch?"
"Then go right ahead cause in the end you ain't gon do shit." I stand up causing her to back up. "Move along roach." I grab Lexi's hand attempting to leave.
"Say that louder." This causes the whole cafeteria to look at us.
"Can you hear? ROACH."
She walks closer to my face. Her nails come in contact with my head. "Bitch if you don't get them $4 press on nails out my face."
"I know-"
"Diamond!" I turn around to find Lathan. My whole face changes from a frown to a goofy smile. I run over to him hugging him tightly. "Lathan!"
The crusty bitch walks over mad as fuck. "How the fuck you know my Nigga bitch?" Lathan looks at her making a scrunched up face. "I'm not your Nigga anymore Ren."
She pouts and looks over to me. "So you left me for this hoe?"
"Where you going through a hard time when you asked her out?" I mumble to him.
"Let's just go." Lathan grabs me. Lexi follows behind us like a puppy.
Me and Lathan stare at each other. Lexi gets the idea and leaves. "Are you here temporarily or permanently?" I ask looking down. Even though I know him really well, he still makes me so nervous.
"As long as you're here. And while I'm here, Imma find the Niggas that kidnapped you."
