"Nice game everyone!" Daichi shouted as he clapped his hands.
Its the second day at the training camp and everyone was tired after a heated game between Nekoma and Karasuno.
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" Bokuto shouted cheerfully as ever.
"WAAAHHH! Bokuto-san teach me how to spike!" Hinata, the ball of sunshine jump high as he stare at the proud owl.
"Shrimpy-chan, save the energy rush tomorrow. Let's have a rest and relax for now, right Tsukki-chan?" Kuro said as he look over in his shoulder. Gaze pinned at the now leaving Tsukishima.
"Oi! Shittyshima, don't you dare skip cleaning!" Hinata pointed out the taller middle blocker but proceed to walk outside like he didn't heared the small boy.
"Aaaah!! Shittyshimaa!!" Hinata shouted at the top of his lungs. His voice echoed at every corner of the gymnasium.
"Hinata bokeee!! Stop shouting stupid, pick up the balls over the other court boke!!" Kageyama throw a ball that directly hitted Hinata's face.
"Bakageyama!! That hurts!!" Hinata screamed back picking up the ball and thrown it back at Kageyama's direction. The raven haired boy dodge the incoming volleyball and the ball fight has began.
"Heh, those two never loses energy." Kuro snickered as his eyes landed on a pudding head who silently throw glances at the noisy sunshine.
"Be careful. Shrimpy-chan might end up melting, Kenma." He said, earning a flinch from the blonde head. A reaction he loves to see.
"Shut up Kuro. You always say stupid things." Kenma murmured.
Today was one of the days where Kenma felt normally gloomy and tired. Plus the need to escape this stormy feeling inside his stomach. His teammates and others were being spirited due to the excitement of playing a match. Not that much he cared anyway but there was this certain sunshine in his mind. Its been years since he felt this happy with something.
Kuro walked near the slouching boy when he heard the noise suddenly stops. He turn his head towards the noisy duo just to see Daichi holding both their collars. The two looks frightened and turned to stiffened dead bodies.
Daichi never fails to control his members. He's a total dad to the baby crows.
"Tanaka-saaann!!!" Yamamoto Taketora of Nekoma screamed across the court with a teary eye.
"Toraaa-saann!!" Tanaka screamed back.
"Ohoho?"
"Ohohoho...wait...Akaaashii!!!"
"Hinata boke!"
"Bakageyama!"
"Oi! Asahi stop squirming and get your ass over here!"
"Daichi-san don't be so mean."
"Suga-san I'm not squirming, right?"
"Rolling...thunder!!"
"Whoah!! Sugoi!! Sugoi Nishinoya-san!"
"Heh! I know right, Inouka-san."
"Yachi-san, will you help the other managers prepare the food?"
"Y-Yes, Shimizu-san!"
Random noises filled the wide and spacious gymnasium which only gives irritation and annoyance to one specific kitten.
"So noisy." He thought to himself as he march his way inside the locker room. Why does they have to be so loud after matches? Why do they have to be so hyper and bright? Why do they have to be so cheeky and smiles so sweet?
Without noticing, Kenma's questions points out to just one particular crow. His mind was filled with the sunshine's images. His wide grin, his orange hair that looks so soft and fluffy, his adorable golden brown orbs that shines whenever its owner becomes excited and wild inside the volleyball court.
Oh how he wished he's the reason behind those heartwarming smile. He wants to claim a spot inside the little crows heart. But he know very well that thing won't happen. He's a nobody. A dull, boring, nobody who's in a coincidence to be the setter of a volleyball team of a prestigous school in Tokyo.
Kenma sighed deep as he accept defeat from fate. He changed in his black shirt and sweatpants. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice Kuro's presence.
"What's with the deep sigh?" The tall black haired man asked with a toothy grin in his face. It annoys Kenma with just seeing Kuro's smile. Like with just that, it teases him.
"What do you want Kuro?" He lazily ask as he snatch his PSP and started a game.
"Nothing. I just thought of checking you out. Just an instinct." Kuro shrugged as he plays his hair with his right hand.
"Stop fooling around Kuro, I know that smile." He hissed, not looking at the taller guy.
Kuro laughed and pat Kenma's head before walking out of the locker room. But before he could entirely leave he whispered.
"We'll be playing a game you surely love." He said and gave Kenma a wink. Kenma on the other hand, rolled his eyes as he murmured to himself though no one can hear what he just said.
"Here we go again."
