Emma's POV
I was driving to the school with Hannah and Ellie to start preparing for the game since it's in a couple hours when we arrive we see the football team practicing but I can't see Ethan which worries me I never thought I would be this worried about not seeing him.
"Hey ellie"I say
"Yes em" she says
"Can you go ask Grayson about Ethan's whereabouts" I say with pleading eyes trying to convince her
"Em I think it would be more convenient if you went and told Grayson that I don't want him to take it another way" I was disappointed but I get where ellie is coming from so I start walking across the field and stop when I reach where Grayson is so I tap his shoulder.
"Where is your brother"I ask him
"He's a Bit nervous but he's in the locker room"he says
"Oh is he okay"I ask with a worried look on my face
"Is emma chamberlain worried about my brother" he says with a smile on his face
"Oh shut up gray, I'll be right back" I say
"Ok have fun kids and just protection" he screams at me so I just keep walking but give him the finger and that's when everyone starts laughing.
Once I arrive at the locker rooms I open the door and see Ethan sitting with his hand on his face and he seems sad.
"Hey E" I say almost whispering but he doesn't acknowledge me so I go and sit next to him.
"Look at me e" I say whispering grabbing his face "What's wrong are you ok" I ask him
"No I'm not ok games are usually always like this they remind me of my dad and of all the good times we used to spend practicing and playing football this was his dream em" Ethan says almost breaking down
"E I'm sure he's very proud of you i mean look at you captain of the football team you guys literally win every game" I say
"Thanks em I needed that" he says with a genuinely smile on his face
"No problem now go win that game" i say while giving him a kiss on the cheek
"Love how you look on my jersey my clothes definitely look good on you"he says while grabbing my waist
"Maybe you'll get to see me in your clothes more" i say
"Is that so" he says smirking and I start leaning in and that's when our lips crash and move in perfect sync but there's something about this kiss it's more slow but in a good way it's more passionate more real which is something I definitely haven't felt but I was loving it we were still kissing when someone comes in we both pull away as fast as possible I turn around and see that Grayson is at the door.
"Sorry didn't mean to walk in on you" he says trying to hold his giggles
"We weren't doing anything" I say and Ethan just stays quiet
"Yeah so I definitely didn't walk in on you kissing"he says laughing
"Shut up" I say
"What do you need gray" Ethan says annoyed
"The game's about to start and they're waiting on you two" he says
"Coming" both me and Ethan say at the same time
