Hiccup went by himself towards west, sailing with a tiny boat and wearing the fireproof armor, made with Toothless' scales. He has been already gone for 5 hours but he didn't seem to find the rock in the middle of the ocean. 1 hour later, he managed to do so. But there was nothing on it or around it. He decided to stop the boat, and to get up on the rock to check it entirely. Nothing.
He looked around for a bit, until he saw a white figure on the sky. He immediately knew that it was the Light Fury, but something was wrong. It flew around like she was waiting for something and Hiccup realized that too late. Toothless jumped on the rock, staring at him with an agressive look. Hiccup was now panicking, knowing that Toothless can see the fear in his eyes. He decided to attempt to do the same thing that started it all, gaining his trust again. Hiccup reached out his hand, the dragon stopped and sniffed it. Toothless instantly recognized him and jumped at him, licking his face again and again. Hiccup started to laugh, while the tiny light furies and their mother landed staring at the scene. "I missed you, bud! You don't know how much!" Hiccup got up and hugged Toothless, while starting to cry of hapiness. Toothless got up on two legs and hugged him back, closing his eyes.
Hiccup let go and looked at the Light Fury then back at Toothless which was very happy to see his best friend after 3 years since dragons and vikings had to be separated. "How about we go and fly a bit, like old times?" Hiccup said, and of course, Toothless agreed happily. He instantly threw Hiccup on his back, waited for him to get ready and started flying. Going high up in the sky, then coming back down with fast speed. They were both happy and together once again, Hiccup laughing and Toothless opening his mouth and sticking out his tongue.
After hours of flying, they both gone back to the rock. Toothless was sad that Hiccup had to go, but he noticed that Hiccup was pushing the boat away. "Want to go home, bud?" Hiccup said while Toothless immediately went into the most happiest dragon ever. He then stopped and roared.
Hiccup didn't understand what was going on, until the sky started to get full of dragons which were going towards The New "Berk". He smiled, then looked at Toothless, which also did his gummy smile. After that Hiccup climbed on Toothless' back and they started to fly towards their home.
"I did say that one day... I will come after you bud. That day is today... I promised Astrid I'll come here later though... but I couldn't resist anymore, how about we explain together?" Hiccup said, worried about what Astrid will say. She'll most probably get angry, but would understand Hiccup's and Toothless' friendship and how much they missed each other.
"Welcome back, bud" Hiccup said, while putting the fireproof helmet on his head. Both started to fly towards the sky doing a barrel roll then going between the army of dragons. Hiccup was feeling like he ran away with dragons, but he was happy that he was able to find his best friend.
They would reach "Berk" soon, just 1 hour of flying.
