"Don't cry because it's over,
smile because it happened."
All the boys were quiet on their ride back to their dorm. All that was on their mind was they were coming to an end. Wanna One was coming to an end.
"Someone please talk. The silence is killing me." Woojin spoke up, breaking the painful silence.
The ten boys just looked at him with sad eyes, sighing in unison.
"Cheer up, guys. Let's not think about it for now." Jisung forced a smile on his face.
The boys couldn't though. How could they be happy when they will all break apart in four months? It was painful for them. They treated each other like family. It's all coming to an end.
The van came to a stop in front of their dorm. Minhyun was the first to get out. They all were looking down on the way up. No one spoke. They would cry if they did.
Jihoon and Jinyoung sat down on the couch and looked around the room, reminiscing the memories they made. Smiling sadly, the two boys sighed.
"We still have four months." Daewhi said, his voice breaking.
"I hope time stops." Guanlin said, trying not to cry.
"Don't be sad, guys! We still have four months! We'll still be together for quite a while." Sungwoon said, his voice half cheerful and half devastated.
"Yeah, let's enjoy our time together!" Jaewhan said in his usual loud voice.
They enjoyed their time together. But time just flies so fast. Four months past with a blink of any eye. The eleven boys were scattered around the stage. It was their last and final concert as a group, as Wanna One.
Tears filled their eyes, threatening to drop any second. They stared at the audience who were singing along to I Promise U.
"Wannables!" Daewhi said after they finished singing. "Don't forget us!"
"We never will!" The crowd answered. "Wannable forever!"
That made the boys cry harder than they already have.
"Wannables!" Jisung said, tears streaming down his face. "Please stay safe."
"We love you!" Minhyun said, making a big heart.
"We love you more!" The audience shouted back.
"I never thought this day would come." Sungwoon began. "I never thought that we would break up. But wannables, you'll still be loyal, right?"
"YES!"
Everyone was crying. They couldn't believe the day has come. The day where Wanna One was gonna disband. It was all a dream and now they're waking up to face reality. Reality that all things must come to an end, because nothing in this world is permanent.
"Wannables, we'll come back!"
That was the sweetest lie. They'll come back, huh. But they didn't. Wanna One did come back, but as individuals now. They have their own careers now. They came back but not as a whole.
Wanna One, thank you for the journey. Thank you for the pain and the joy. Thank you for making us smile. Thank you for making us cry. Wanna One, thank you for existing.
