A Christmas party {On Hold}

Chapter 1: the storm

Shadow's pov

It's the day before Christmas and for some reason I'm actually in a good mood. I've been dashing across station square finding presents for my sort of friends, then I found this box for tools and bought it for tails.

I found two matching Santa dresses and bought then for amy and cream, I found this dazzling diamond necklace for rouge and a bottle of wine for knuckles (I couldn't think of any thing for him XD)

I just couldn't find anything for sonic though until I went into a chilli dog store, sonic's favorite and they were giving away free coupons so I 'borrowed' (more like stole) 50 of them.

By the time I got home it was snowing like crazy, I put all the gifts in my extra room so I could wrap them. then I Heard my doorbell was rung. I put the gifts under a large blanket and walked down the stairs towards the door (he lives in a mansion).

When I got to the door I was expecting Christmas carolers, not the sonic gang covered in snow! "shadow can we please stay here until the storm is over" asked a freezing sonic. it broke my heart to see them like this, including sonic. see I sorta have a crush on him.

"Hurry up and get in before you freeze to death" i said as I pulled them all in, then walked over to a cabinet full of towels. "here dry up" I said as I gave every one a towel. "thank you mister shadow" said cream as she gave me a hug and I hugged her back.

"Ya thanks shadow we really appreciate it, by the way nice place" sonic said as he pointed to my house that was decorated in Christmas ornaments and a giant Christmas tree in the living room.

"Ya well it would have looked better if I found some red and green temporary paint" I said as I scratched the back of my head.

"So I could show you guys to your temporary rooms" I said as I pointed towards the stairs. "ok, also shadow you're surprising happy. what's up" asked sonic with a perplexed look.

"I just love Christmas is all" I said as I headed up the stairs with the others following behind. "Oh by the way shads tails and I can share a room" sonic said as he wrapped his arm around the two tailed fox. "good because all of you guys might need to share a room" I said as I took out a laminated map of the house from my quills so I could tell which rooms were occupied.

"Really? because it looks like you have a ton of extra rooms" said knuckles as he tried to open the room that had the presents in.

"Don't open that!" I said as I ran to the door before he could open it and took out a ring of keys and locked the door. "and why not" asked rouge as she put her hands on her hips.

"Either you stay out of the rooms I tell you are off limits or I let everyone except the ones that listen leave" I said as my anger started to boil. "ok shadow, we'll stay out of the rooms you tell us" tails said. "ok. sorry but I just don't want you guys to go in certain rooms" I said as I tried to calm myself down. "it's ok, we understand mister shadow" said cream.

"Ok so sonic and tails take the room all the way to the end of the hall, amy and cream take the room across from them, and rouge and knuckles take the room next to amy and creams" I said as I started to write the names of the people staying in the rooms on the map.

"Oh and dinner will be made shortly" I said as I handed everyone a map of the house. "and I'll be a bit busy so don't disturb me" I said as I walked off towards the room with the presents.
