Chapter 5-Ruining Friendships

*MADELINE POV*

When Jake pulled up the the driveway, Jake immediately got out and started to look for Colby. "Colby where are you?"

Jake walked in into the house notice that there was no sign of Colby.

"Yo Sam where Colby at?"

"Why?"

"Because I need to fucking beat his ass"

I somehow knew exactly where Colby was.

I remember months ago, when I was still new at the house, I was talking to Colby and Colby said that his place for peace and quiet was the roof. So I walked into the house and head straight upstairs to the roof. I went onto the roof but didn't find Colby, instead I found Aaron.

"Oh hey Madeline, what are you doing here?" "Have you seen Colby?" "No but he texted me that he was heading it Gabby's house"

"Wait Colby is heading to Gabby's house?" Jake yelled.

Jake got down from the roof and opened his car door. I had to stop Jake from ruining a friendship. That's when it hit me. I was the one ruining the friendship. Ever since I moved in, Jake and Colby having been filming less. So I went back inside and grabbed all my stuff. I called to schedule a hotel room for a night then going back to my hometown. I got to the hotel and started crying in my car. My phone was blowing up with texts and calls from Sam, Corey, and Aaron. They were all worried. I got into my hotel room and immediately open the fridge for alcohol. I drank myself to sleep. Too much that I missed my flight. Well I'm back to square one. Brennen eventually found me because he was doing one his is 5 star reviews on his channel.

"Madeline, I know you're in here. I saw your car."

I didn't answer. I didn't want him to see me upset. I eventually opened the door and let Brennen in.

"Hey we are all worried for you," Brennen yelled as I quickly went into the bathroom door and locked it.

I ran the bath water until it was full. I got in and tried to drown myself. Brennen knew I was in the bathroom so he tried breaking the door down. Brennen eventually breaks the door down and finds me unconscious in the water. He rushes me to the nearest hospital. As I was laying in the room sleeping, Brennen was trying get ahold of Jake.

"Hey it's Jake, leave a message at the beep" BEEP

"Yo Jake get your ass over here now. I'm at the hospital. Something happened to Madeline. They won't let my see her cause I'm not family or her boyfriend but you are so get your ass over here now."

Brennen eventually got a text from Jake saying that he is on the way.
