The Kidnapped Child
For days the police searches for clues to find the missing child. Until one day.... the police found a clue and it involves the 3 neighbors. The police questioned all of them the same question, the police also brought a k9 dog with him.
Here are their statements:
Police: Do you have a child in your house?
Neighbor 1: I do have a child but she works far away.
Suddenly, the dog barks.
Neighbor 1: Oh sorry, I have a squirrel in my house.
The police again, asked the same question.
Neighbor 2: Oh... I have no child. In fact I leave alone.
The police notices some scratch marks on her hand.
Police: Why do you have scratch marks on your hand?
Neighbor 2: Oh this... It was because of the cat.
And lastly, the police asked the same question.
Neighbor 3: Oh yes... I have 4 children and all of them are boys. They are right there playing.
The police knew who the kidnapper is. Who is it and why?
Answer: It was neighbor 2.
Reason: If there was a cat, the dog should've barked like neighbor 1.
