The little girl goes up to her puppy and sighs at the dirt which covered him. "You've been a bad bad dog," she says as she kneels down, poking his nose. She then grins. "I have the perfect punishment~" she takes a breath. "Bath time~" She then grabs his collar and starts pulling him across the floor to her restroom which attached to her room. She fills the tub with soapy water and pulls him in: ball, clothes, flower pot and all. She giggles before taking off the pot and scooping bubbles to put on his head which she had to stand on her tippy toes to do even though he was sitting.
He sits there with his tongue hanging out, his eyes dilated, and his panting high. Rust didn't know a lot, but he did know that he loved the little girl.
All is going well, when suddenly, he sees a peculiarly large bubble.
His eyes widen, as he then starts growling menacingly at the threat. No one, hurt his princess.
He starts backing away from it, and blocking Elizabeth from the bubble's view as he continues to growl.
She tilts her head. "What's the matter, silly?" She then looks and sees the bubble and squeals with delight. "Bubbles!!!" She reaches and pops it. The spherical rainbow prism bursts before his eyes, making a little pop. The princess giggles at the funny sound. She then teases her puppy. "Awwwwe~ was wittle Wusty scawed of da bubble?" Her face beams further as she pokes his nose with her little soapy finger.
Rust's eyes open wide, as he then catches her tiny hand, and examines it, checking it for any injuries.
He reluctantly brings it to his nose and sniffs, as his ears point up high. His face was a determined one, and he wanted to insure his princess was safe.
Her head tilts the other way. "Puppy, careful~ you might accidentally pull me in," she mutters to mostly herself.
He then slowly sticks out his tongue to examine the substance further--
Once his tongue gets a taste of the soapy substance, his nose crinkles up, and he starts rubbing his tongue with his hands.
"Tastes bad, huh?" she giggles. Her smile widens as she jumps up to kiss his cheek. "Silly puppy."
The dog man's cheeks radiate red, as he then stops his frantic rubbing of his tongue against his hands, and then looks at his little princess with side eyes and soft ears.
She grins as she stands on her tip toes to pet his ears. Suddenly the door is flung open and the queen stands in a fowl position.
The girl turns and holds her arms out, trying to shield the man in her tub.
"WHAT'S THIS?!" The queen booms, furious.
"P-please," the little princess cries, "i-it wasnt his fault! I-I'm giving him a bath! Everything's okay."
The queen's eyes burn. "No, everything is NOT okay! What did I tell you about throwing things indoors and what did I tell you about washing that -- that thing?!"
The little princess gasps, hurt by her mother's insult. "He- he's not a thing!!" She stomps her little foot, angrily. "He's my friend!"
The queen then picks up her scepter, and hits it hard on the ground, making Rust panic and grab the little princess into his arms, making her wet from the water, thus making the queen further furious.
Elizabeth panics. "N-no, Rust!" she whispers loudly to him as she struggles in his arms.
The queen starts walking forwards, thinking of a punishment for the servant or girl.
But, the queen already had punishments in mind.
Her voice booms as she strikes Rust across the cheek with her hand, and then rips her daughter away from him. "DOG!!! You are to stay in your quarters for a week without food or water, and Elizabeth..." Her voice is sliiiightly calmer as she looks over at her tiny daughter. "You may have no toys for the rest of the week."
"No, mother! Please!!" she begs as tears stream down her pale face. "He needs proper care!"
The queen points down the hall.
"GUARDS!" she commands, "TAKE THAT FREAK SHOW TO WHERE HE BELONGS! THE DOG HOUSE!! AND TAKE THE PRINCESS TO HER ROOM AND MAKE SURE SHE STAYS THERE!!!"
Rust looks up, and starts barking, howling, and whining all at once at the evil queen as his arms are grabbed and restricted by guards.
"NO!!!" The little princess tries to fight off the mean guards, but it was no use. They were all bigger and stronger than her.
When all seems to be shattering she calls out: "HELP! SOMEBODY! ANYBODY!!!" Her tears stream down her face as she's carried away from her friend. She could care less about the toys. She would rather all her toys and all her luxaries be taken away so that Rusty may be treated kinder than he was.
The guards all grab hold of the disobedient servant so that there was no possible way for him to escape as they drag him out of the tub and onto the hard, marble floor. They put a leash around his neck and then parade him through the thousands of halls of the palace before tossing him in a small, cramped cage. The creaking door slams shut, instantly cutting off the only source of light.
