When The Truth Bites

What the heck just happened? One minute the sky is perfectly clear and sunny, and the next, lightning strikes. But little did I know, that was just the start of things. After lightning struck, the lights in the room flickered and died. The angrier I got, the faster changes happened. The light bulbs blew up, causing the sprinklers and fire alarms to turn on. It wasn't long before I noticed the cause of these occurrences. It was me. My emotions fueled the changes going on. But I didn't have magic, and even if I did, there is no magic here. I was causing Neal to freak out, and seeing him put his arms around Tamara, the model, made me want to get sick. I couldn't watch this anymore. I ran out of the apartment, and onto the littered streets. I was still heated, so as I ran, trash cans blew their tops. I went back to my apartment, blowing the door open with a flick of my hand. I gave myself some time to calm down, just incase my out-of-controll-powers killed anyone as I picked up my son. Gold's grandson. God that was creepy. Poor Belle. She is a 30 year old step-grandmother. Guess I should probably go pick up Henry now.

As I got to Gold's room, I told him that it turned out to be a bad night for my so called "friend". I payed him, and left with Henry. As we stepped into the apartment, I asked the only person that might be able to explain what was going on with me, the question I had wanted to ask all morning long.

"Henry..." I started. "What do you know about magic?" And just as I anticipated, I got an hour long explanation of the origins of magic.

"Why do you need to know Mom?"

"Okay kid, you got me. I was mad at your father earlier, because he said some things that had hurt me, and well, when I got mad, the wind picked up, lightning struck, and things blew up. I think I might have magic, because You know that when people break through emotional barriers, kinda weird stuff can happen, but the funny thing is, I don't get why my magic works here."

Henry replied, "I think you're ready. I think you're ready for the next part of the story." I have no idea what that kid is talking about. What other part of the story is there?

"There's a reason only you were able to break the curse. You are the product of true love, which makes you the most powerful magic Storybrook or the real world has ever seen."

That's what the world does to you. The more you struggle to get out, the deeper the world pulls you in.
