Prologue (Kinda Long)

Pov: ???

"Sir! We won't be able to hold them off for much longer, we need to do something quick!

*Sigh*

She is right, they will only be able to hold them off for a little more. Once they can't anymore I'll have to step in, but first... I need to take care of something else...

I ran back to the secret room. I ran to the middle of the room to find the basket there sage and sound, I peeked inside and saw it staring at me with those color changing eyes

5 min later

They mesmerized me, I hadn't realized how long I was staring at it until someone tapped me. Startled I jumped back with the basket in one hand and my sword drawn out on the other just to see him...

"Woah there big guy, don't want to stab anyone now do we?"

"This isn't a time for jokes! This basket is our last hope!"

"Well, I just came in here to tell you our secondary line has fallen back so we need you."

"Right, of course."

I handed him the basket and put on my armor. I was just about to step out when he grabbed my arm to stop me.

"Promise me you won't die."

"What? What are you talking about and why would i die? Are you doubting me?"

"Just promise me you won't die"

"I won't until you tell me why?"

He let go of me and he starred at me right and the eyes until he basically whispered

"Because... I need you, I can't live without you... so promise me you won't die."

Why... why is he doing this to me now

"I-I promise."

But before he could say something I dashed outside. I can't fall into my feelings not now, right now i have a war to fight...

Pov: (Not the same one as before)

I said it to him I told him how I feel, and he promised he wouldn't die but I can't help and have a bad feeling about him going out and fighting. Yet here I am now with this basket that is supposedly our last hope in winning this fight against the demons.

I mean look at it, it looks nothing special to me, except its......... astounding ... color... changing... kaleidoscope... eyes............................... Ok maybe it is special

*BOOM*

Erm, what was that? My eyes widened as i realized that it could be that he used his most powerful move!? If he did then he must really be in danger he only uses that move when its his last option... i have to go check on him... but this basket and can't just go out there with the baby that is the key to saving all of us... but leaving it in here is fine right? It should be fine... Right?
