2 M O N T H S L A T E R

"Hey Aiseah, wanna grab some strawberries?" Nexus asked me as he pointed out the frozen strawberries he saw on the fridge

"Oh come on Nexus, after 2 months of living with each other, you still don't know that her favorite is Milk Chocolate?" Phoenix disagreed as he showed his twin the 3 bars of chocolate that he's holding

After 2 months, napalapit na ako sa kambal, at ganon din sila sakin. We got to know each other well. Phoenix is the one who's a bit Jolly and outgoing while Nexus is the serious one and kind of observant. I don't take it as a negative thing but they are actually clingy. Nalaman ko rin na nawalan sila ng magulang sa murang edad, so by that...I assumed that they are actually finding a family by my presence, and so I figured out na iyon ang dahilan kung bakit nila ako tinanggap.

"My favorites are caramel, actually" sabi ko at tinalikuran sila sabay nagpatuloy sa pagtulak ng grocery cart.Nagtinginan naman ang mga kambal at nag-unahan sa paghahanap ng caramel

I got to learn about this place and adapt. Apparently, there are two worlds, the Earthland, or the world for humans, and Ambrosia, or the world for the supernaturals. Ambrosia has different empires for every supernatural being, and one of them is the Akeldama Empire, or the land of the Vampires

Akeldama is composed of four divisions with distict rulers. Ponzio Division on the North led by Ivanov Clan, Thana Division on the South led by the Orfeo Clan, Nerine Division on the East led by the Nerio Clan and Polona Division in the West led by the Cirino Clan. These Clan leaders are the clan of pureblood, the only pureblood lineage left. May mga humans din na nag-eexist sa world na ito as they were here in the first place at ang iba ay nanggaling ang ninuno sa Earthland, so kahit na hindi ako bampira,I felt relieved dahil hindi lang pala ako ang nag-iisang tao dito

"So which one do you like?" They eagerly showed me the caramels they found. I smiled at them. I'm very lucky to have them actually. Sila ang pinakaunang taong tumuring sakin na pamilya simula ng mamatay si mama.

"I like them both" I said that made their face brighten as a sign of contentment. Pagkatapos namin nag-grocery ay naglakad lakad muna kami.Hawak ng kambal ang mga pinamili namin. Halos pareho lang ang Ambrosia sa Earthland, May mga mall, May electronics, present ang technology. Ang naiiba lang talaga ay ang lifestyle, at ang mga species

Dahil may natitira pa naman kaming oras bago maggabi ay napagdesisyunan namin na maglakad muna sa Nerine Park, and as the name suggest, we are currently living at the Nerine Division .Naramdaman ko na May umakbay sakin at nang lingunin ko iyon ay mukha ni Phoenix ang sumalubong sakin.

"Wanna grab some ice creams?" Sabi nito at itinuro ang ice cream stand na hindi gaano kalayo sa kinaroroonan namin

"I do, but the line is so long" I suggested ng makita ko na humigit kumulang 20 na katao ang nakapila

"Do you want to eat some ice creams?" Tanong naman ulit ni Nexus

"I do,but-"

"Okay then, we'll buy" Sabi ni Nexus at hinila ang nakakabatang kapatid upang pumila. Susunod na sana ako sa kanila nang pigilan ako ni Phoenix

"Mababagot ka lang dito, just enjoy the park" He said

"We'll catch up to you later" Nexus added

I just nodded at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. Unti-unti ng bumaba ang araw. Kung nagtataka kayo, Vampires evolved through the years, at sa ngayon ay hindi na sila namamatay dahil lamang sa sikat ng araw.

Noong medyo napagod na ako ay napagdesisyunan kong umupo muna. Pinagmasdan ko ang paligid at hindi ko na matanaw ang kambal, masyado akong nawili sa paglalakad kaya napalayo ako. Well, they can smell me anyway, so they would know where to find me

Habang pinapanood ko ang sunset sa pwesto ko ay bigla akong nakarinig ng kaluskos. My eyes widened when a man stood in front of me.

Phoenix and Nexus, they are good looking, too good looking to be a vampire that it's impossible to think of them that way dahil mukha lang silang masyadong gwapong tao. But this guy.

He has a wrinkly grayish skin, large eyes with irises that looks like the blood moon. Long nails and a grin in it's lips while it's fangs are slowly showing

It's terrifying...

Naglakad ito papalapit sakin, aatras na sana akong ngunit naramdaman ko ang bench sa likod ko

"Who would've known that I'd be seeing a tasty looking human here?" Tanong nya at nakita kong tumulo ang laway nya na May kasamang bahid ng dugo habang naglalakad papunta sakin

"D-Don't come any closer" I said, fear evident in my voice as I was shaking. I swear I saw its fangs grew longer and it's eyes intensified

" Give me your blood! " Sabi nito at tinakbo ang distansya naming dalawa

"NOOOO!!!" I shrieked as I covered my face with my arms. My world stopped and my life flashed before my eyes. I thought that it would be the end of me but when I opened my eyes, I couldn't believe what I saw.

The vampire who attacked me has an arm pierced in it's chest with it's heart on it's hands,still beating. Napalingon ako sa taong lumigtas sakin, he wears a black tee and black jeans at may cap na suot so I can't see his face. Pinisil nya ang puso ng bampirang umatake sakin at sumabog yon, kasabay noon ay ang pagiging abo ng katawan ng bampira

I just stared at the man in front of me, dahan dahan syang naglakad papunta sakin. I was hesitant because who knows if this guy is an evil vampire so I tried to run away from him but suddenly, his hand cupped my left cheek

I looked at him but I can only see his nose and his lips. Pinunasan nya ang pisngi ko at kasabay noon ay ang pagtulo ng dugo mula doon, natalsikan noong sinaksak nya ang bampira gamit ang kamay nya

"I'm sorry"he said

Natigilan ako, the voice. It's the same with the mask guy 4 years ago and the guy who bit me 2 months ago. The same guy who saved me, and maybe the only one who knows why am I here. I was about to ask him when he grabbed my nape.

Tulad ng unang encounter namin ay isinandal nya ang noo namin sa isa't- isa. I can feel his breath brushing my lips

"I know you have a lot of questions, but this is not the right time. We will meet soon,face to face. I will wait for you to go to that place, I'll wait. My lady" he calmly yet coldly said. I could feel how sincere he was, at dahil doon unti unting nawala ang takot ko sa kanya

Napahiwalay sya sakin ng biglang May tumulak sa kanya.

"N-Nexus, P-Phoenix" they look so mad at this moment

"Who are you? What do you want with Seah?" Sabay nilang banggit at ramdam ko ang galit sa boses nila. Pumunta naman silang dalawa sa harap ko at tila pinoprotektahan ako sa lalaki

Kahit hindi ko nakikita ang mata ng lalaki ay alam kong nakatingin sya sakin

"Till we meet again" He whispered and at a blink of an eye, he disappeared
