It all started in high school. He was a senior yet i was still had one more year to go.

I was just a quiet girl that enjoyed volleyball

Somehow that connected us

we knew our relationship was toxic yet we never stopped

which is probably why everything is falling apart for me.

- Present day -

It was just like any other day. I woke up late and had to rush. Which consisted of me panicking and rushing out of bed and into the bathroom where I would comb my hair and brush my teeth at the same time.I then change into my uniform and grab my bag and run downstairs. And of course my brother has left without me. I run and a granola bar and the money my mom leaves for me each day which is only $5. I then run out the door and to school. I then go to my class where I'll be greeted by my friends 수민 ( sumin ) and 은하 ( eunha ).  But today was an interesting one indeed. Hi y/n! Sumin and Eunha greet me like this."Hi guys", I say back. I then proceed to my tiny locker and pull everything I need for Math. Usually I'll put in my headphones now and blast them until my teacher comes in. But today was different. Even better than most days you could say.

Hey hey y/n! Sumin pokes my side which she knows I hate since I'm extremely ticklish.

I slap her hand away and look at her. "Yeah?" I say back. Did you know Yoongi broke up with his girlfriend? I go wide eyed. I've had a big crush on Min Yoongi since freshman year. I obviously knew that I wouldn't be with him since he's a year older than me. But its nice to dream right?

Since now from freshman year, I've only talked to him a few times which is weird since I like him so much so I probably should talk to him more but he just gives me so many butterflies.

But my dreams were crushed last year because he started to date a transfer student named Emma. She came from Bejing and she was stunning.  She came in the middle of last year. She's in her third year of high school right now just like me.

Just a few months after she came, they started to date. Which broke my heart. Even though they've been dating for almost a year  now, my feelings for yoongi never faded.

"Really? Weren't they like the perfect couple though?" I ask. "Yeah but apparently Emma was caught at a college party drinking and hooking up with college kids. And yoongi got so mad he broke up with her for good." Sumin said. "Woww I would've never guessed they would break up for good right now" Eunha said. "Yeah me either." I replied.

And at that exact moment, Emma walks into the class with bags under her eyes and she was staring right at me,Sumin and Eunha. All 3 of us turn away in fear she'd start to yell. If I didn't mention before, she's a big drama queen and likes to blow things out of proportion.  Soon after class starts and I'm fast asleep...

I jolt up since I feel a big gust of cold wind. "YAH YAH YAH, y/n! wake up. It's time to go to volleyball now." Eunha yells at me. Eunha and I are volleyball players on the school's official team. And I was voted captain which meant I have to go to every practice we had. So once I finally decided to drag myself out of the class, we headed to the gym. Where unexpectedly yoongi and other seniors on the basketball team were sitting up in the bleachers.

This made me extremely worried and shy so I ran into the girl's changing room.  I started to panic because of this. Eunha is the only one who knows about my crush on yoongi so she instantly came to me and calmed me down, Luckily she calmed it down fast because after 10 minutes I was fine.

Luckily the practice went well and I actually did better than usual. My hits were more down and I was cheering on my team more even if they did mess up. Maybe yoongi was my motivation. And even sometimes I'd see him looking straight at me. But that could've been me imagining that.

Once I finally got home, the first thing that appeared on my phone was from him.
