"What? I'm just doing what the fortune cookie told me to do. Who am I to stand in the way of fate?" He opened his arms. I rolled my eyes and started walking ahead, he too started walking.
"That's just rubbish. There's no such thing as fate." He ignored me and opened another cookie as we strolled down the street.
"Someone next to you will quit their pointless nagging and kiss you already." He read the message and smiled at me.
"I'm waiting."My eyebrows shot up. "No way I'm kissing you just because a fortune cookie tells me so."
He jumped right in front of me and we stopped there in the middle of nowhere. He stood tall in front of me. His skin shining under the sun and his tousled hair getting way more messed up from the blowing wind."What if I told you I made it up?" I was looking down at the ground to avoid eye contact with him. I raised my head up to interpret what he said and he was like always, staring deep inside me.
"Did you?" I didn't have to be loud. He was standing so close to me that I could hear him breathe.
I saw him blush a little and then his eyes moved from my eyes to my lips. Mine too scanned his whole face. His light lips, his long eyelashes, his green eyes.."Perhaps...i did."
