Look. I know you won't believe this, and probably think this is a load of crap, but hear me through. Sure, call me nutty if you want, but stay if you want to know the truth about our world. This is what happened to me, this is real. My name is Kaitlyn Lee, and I'm going to send the world as you know it crashing down.
When you go to school, the teachers tell you, this the only planet, only place known to be able to host living creatures. They're lying to you. Or if they're not, they just don't know the whole truth. This world is only a small part of the actual known universe. Our world is called Topaz. We are part of the universe Jewel. This might make you think, "She's gone crazy, let's bring her to the asylum!" but we are actually aliens. We aren't native to Topaz. We invaded Jewel because our original universe, Eden, was destroyed. You all know the story of Adam and Eve right? Our Adam, died, and left Eve to lead our universe. At first it went well, we prospered, until the prophesy was made. Vipera, the one who advised Eve was a prophetess. But that wasn't her real job. Of course, we didn't know about that until after. She was the snake in the Bible story, she was the temptress. She was the one who tested the Eve to see if she was a good leader. Our Eve wasn't. She had been taught well about politics, and economics, but she had a super high self-esteem. She believed that she was better than the other Eves. She believed that this time we wouldn't have to leave our universe. And that was what destroyed her.
It all started for me 2 years ago. I was a normal high school kid in New York. We lived in the Big Apple, so we weren't really surprised by much. We thought nothing could surprise us anymore.
Boy were we wrong.
