Aikatsu Stars: The Hidden Stars[On Hold]

Chapter 3

"I'm gonna be the first-star idol one day! Nijino Yume's about to start her Aikatsu!"

3rd POV

"The foundation of singing lies in voice projection. Everyone try to hold this note as long as you can. Ready.....Start!" Anna-sensei then made a note with her guitar and everyone started holding the note.

Yume tried to hold the note, but couldn't then saw everyone else was holding the notes. Anna-sensei then strum her guitar. "Okay, good job.I'm still hearing some discord. Seems we'll need to stretch those bodies first. Let's start!"

Everyone was stretching, while Laura helped Yume stretched.

"You really are awesome, Laura. It sounded like you could've kept on going."

"It's because I've been taking lessons since I was a kid."

"For that  long?"

"What about you, Yume? Ever learn anything useful?"

"I was in the volleyball club during elementary school. We would run day after day, and shout a whole bunch too. I was the loudest one there. So my stamina and loudness are top-notch."

"Projecting your voice is different from just being loud."

"I figured...." Yume got depressed, but then looked at her other classmates who were stretching and practicing. 'Am I already to far behind?'

Yume snapped out of her thoughts when Anna-sensei came from behind her, pushing her back. "Fix your posture! Feet shoulder-width apart. Open up your chest. Pull in your chin, and relax your throat and shoulders. Sing from your stomach. Let's give it one more try!"

"Okay!" Yume took a breath and then started, while everyone was quiet, watching.

"It was much easier that time, and it worked much better too!"

"That's projection. Okay, babies. The class sorting auditions are almost here. The Flower Song Class, Bird Theater Class, Wind Dance Class, and Moon Beauty Class. Choosing which class to enter is another part of self-producing. Everyone, pick one to aim for! Get on it!"

~At an airport~

"Aozora Hiyoko! A fledgling like you is no more than a burden! Go home!"

"No, I will not! I may be clumsy and clueless fledgling now..... But one day.... I want to spread my wings in the great blue sky! I swear.... I'll become a flight attendant!"

Yume is crying while watching Kisaragi Tsubasa act in a movie, "You can do it! Hiyoko-chan, you can become a flight attendant!"

"Was that scene really so emotional?"

"It's just.... I could feel Hiyoko-chan's emotions like they were my own."

"Yume-chan, you really love it, don't you? The morning drama, "Rise of a Flight Attendant". Tsubasa-senpai's acting is something else."

"Yeah, yeah!"

"Who were you again?"

"It's the first time we've met. I'm Nanakura Koharu. Yume-chan and I are childhood friends."

"I see." Laura then turned off the drama while Yume was still crying, "I'm Yume's classmate, Sakuraba Laura. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Laura-san."
