Another painfully normal day.
Doing the same boring thing.
With the same boring people.
That's how I got my reputation.
Because I was sick of the same old thing.
I got into fights, skipped school, and stopped getting good grades.
I walked down the halls looking at the same boring people giving me dirty looks for my bland attire. My wardrobe consisted of black, grey, and white. Occasionally I through some red into the mix, but that was when I woke up on the right side of the bed, which was rare.
I heard constant murmurs and insults thrown at me by popular kids. At first, I admit, it did upset me slightly. But now I find it humorous that they can't come up with new insults.
"Hey idiot! Didn't you wear that gross shirt yesterday?" A jock yelled as I walked down the hall towards them.
Kids laughed and I rolled my eyes and continued walking. I had been too caught up into my thoughts to realize I was running into someone.
My feet stayed planted while the girls came off the ground and she fell back while dropping all her books. I facepalmed and quickly helped her pick her stuff up.
The assholes behind me seemed to have got a kick out of hit because they erupted into a fit of laughter.
I looked down at the girl and noticed the familiar double-lidded eyes and 'boopable' nose. Areum.
"Way to go loser!" The leader of the group, Minseo, came towards us and looked down at the girl in pity. "You hurt this poor girl. Here. Let me help you up, babygirl." He smirked as he held his hand out.
Something in me snapped. I pushed Minseo down and grabbed Areum's hand. I pulled her with me towards the exit of the school. We ran out and surprisingly enough she didn't seem to care that I had planned skipping school and bringing her with me.
I turned back and saw her with the biggest smile on her face, giggling. It made my heart skip a heart.
What the fuck is happening to me?!
We finally stopped and the both of us leaned over gasping for air.
"That was amazing!" She squealed. throwing her arms around me. I stood there wide eyed.
"I've never felt such adrenaline before. Let's do it again!" She giggled.
I was perplexed.
What kind of drugs was this girl on?!
"I'm serious! Let's do something dangerous again!"
I slowly nodded. "Like what?..."
"Let's rob a bank!"
"No! No! Anything but that!" I yelled.
"Oh okay, uh, let's steal something from my house!"
The fuck...? Would it even be considered stealing if it's from your own house?
I mean...it beats going to school...
I groaned. "Fine. But after you've had your fun we go our separate ways. Understand?"
Her smile turns into a sad one but she nods nonetheless. "That's better than being alone."
She jumped on my back asking for a piggyback ride. "Let's go!"
A/N ~ it's extremely hard to make these chapters lengthy 😣
