At first, I overlooked you;
Misunderstood your bold hue.
At once, I thought you were out of the sort,
Possibly because you were friends with my personal Voldemort.
But I saw through the cracks and flaws,
And your scarlet gracefulness deserves applause.
You have become the truest of friends
And we weirdly complete each other like mismatching bookends.
A burgundy heart that bleeds so passionately,
Longing for joy and fulfillment.
Brightly rouged hope with sparks of blushing talent.
You make the world worth more than any ruby
And I wait with crimson anticipation for what's to be...You AStonish me
