*Rhiannon's Point of View*
I sat in the women’s locker room with Joanie, she was the only one I had ever bothered talking to. She didn’t look upon me as though I was a freak. We were both changing into our ring gear. My thoughts were everywhere but where they needed to be. I pulled on my crop top with the Nirvana smiley on the front, my black trip pants, and a pair of worn down black military style combat boots. I didn’t look like a beauty queen but in my book that was perfectly okay.
“You’re Awfully quiet Rhiannon, is everything alright?” Joanie glanced at me.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just got a lot on my mind and feel like I could sleep for a week.” I laughed dryly.
She just nodded and we both finished up in silence, when we exited the locker room a crew member told me Vince needed to speak with me. I nodded and made my way to Vince's office. I knocked gingerly on the door in front of me, being told to come in seconds later.
“You wanted to seen me Mr. McMahon?” I asked sitting across from him.
“Ah yes, Ms. Gray. I wanted to talk with you and let you in on your next storyline. You’ll be joining DX, they are already aware of it. I purposely told them not to mention it until I had spoken with you personally. This means I expect your best behavior with Michaels, I know you two never got along,” Vince said barely looking up from his paper work.
“Okay and when does this storyline start?” I questioned.
“Tonight, you go down ringside for Michaels and distract his opponent.”
“Okay, thanks.” I smiled, trying desperately to keep my cool.
“No arguing or attitude from you?” Vince questioned in shock.
“Would it really get me anywhere?” I asked back sarcastically.
Vince shook his head before dismissing me, I felt the urge to punch something. I was so pissed off, as much as I enjoyed the company of Chyna and Hunter Shawn Michaels annoyed the fucking shit outta me. I went to catering where people seemed to be swarming, I was so angry and wrapped up inside my head I ran straight into the Deadman.
“Sorry ‘Taker,” I mumbled feeling slightly embarrassed.
“Don't worry about it, what’s got you upset darlin'?”
“New story for me and the complications it brings.” I sighed.
“It'll all work out in the end darlin'.” Mark flashed a creepy smile and stalked off.
I had made friends with the Undertaker quite early on, he may have had a dark in ring persona but as a person he was nice as hell. I grabbed some food slowly picking it over trying my best to make myself eat. I just felt sick to my stomach about the story.
“Oh Miss Rhiannon,” I heard the annoying voice of none other than Shawn Michaels.
“What do you want Michaels?” I asked hoping my tone gave away that I wanted him no where near me.
“Hunter filled me in that you’re joining us and that I was to play nice. So this is me trying to play nice and welcome you.” Shawn's smile was cheesy to say the least.
“Well, thank you, I think.” I replied not quite sure how to take Shawn Michaels being a decent human being to me.
“Come on now Rhiannon, I’m not happy about this either but can we at least just find a damn way to coexist for this story?” Shawn asked and I could clearly tell he was grasping at straws.
