Its Thoughts

Nines and gavin head down to the garage to the car, gavin looked in his pockets but he couldn't find his keys. He looked everywhere until nines holds up his hand with the keys in them. "You might need these" it said with that flirtatious smirk. Gavin blushed in embarrassment and yanked the key from nines hand "Stupid phcking android"

Gavin and nines get to work and immediately everyone stares at gavin, gavin tries to hide his face in his hoodie  but hank walks over with a stupid smug  look on his face "Well,well,well. Look what the cat dragged in. Himself." Gavin felt even more embarrassed by this comment. He tried to think of a good come back, but all he could get out of his mouth is "Why don't u piss off and fuck your poodle" Gavin points at connor. Connors LED turns yellow and his head looks down in embarrassment. (Gavin you bitch! Dont atacc ma cinnamon roll!! Btw pretty much anything is bracts is ma own words) Hank grabs Gavin by the shirt but before he could say anything Fowler calls gavin to his office.

"Its nice to have you back gavin. But. I didn't like your behavior yesterday, you were disrespecting me and your new partner. Your lucky he is a good convincer, anyway for your behavior your going to have to be punished." Nines smirks at this statement. which means you'll have to work the night shift as well tonight. No complaints, got it reed?" Gavin has a bitchy look on his face in disagreement but nods knowing he would get in trouble if he argued.

Gavin and nines exit Fowlers office and gavin looks like he is about to explode. "Im going out for a smoke, I'll be back in 15 minutes." Nines opens its mouth to say something, but thought it would be better for both of them if he didn't.

As gavin walks away, nines sits at gavins desk to wait for him. About 5 minutes later nines noticed that connor looked a bit upset and hank was trying to calm him down. Nines sat there watching them (like a creep) and felt fascinated that a machine could process such emotions. Like. He was human. Nines gets up and walks over to hank and connor, hank gave nines a dirty look and tried to protect connor. "Please lieutenant. I only want to speak with "connor" as you call it" hank gives nines another dirty look and is hesitant for his next move, until connor speaks. "Its okay hank. Lets give him a chance."  Hank looks at connor then nines and lets out a big sigh "Do you really trust him connor?" Connor hesitates but then replies "Yes" nines looks a bit surprised by the androids answer.

"May I speak to connor alone for a moment lieutenant? Hanks hesitant but nods and walks away. "May I ask what seems to be bothering you" Connors LED flickers red for a moment then back to yellow. "When detective reed mentioned me earlier....I don't know why but, when he called me a poodle, that didn't bother me. When he messed with hank and embarrassed him in front of the whole office because he didn't want to be embarrassed. It made me....mad." Nines LED flickers yellow "I don't know why but I wanted to hurt gavin for making hank upset. After gavin left I felt so embarrassed for looking ashamed when I could have done something. So I got really upset that I didn't defend hank.." nines almost looks puzzled "What is hank to you? Connor looks at hank who is chatting with another officer. He smiles and says "My soulmate"

"It was a pleasure speaking with you connor, I hope we can chat again soon" nines walks away and waits for gavin to come back. A little while later gavin comes back with a cup of coffee, a little more calm. "Welcome back detective reed. May I ask you a question?" Gavin looks a little annoyed but decides to answer nines question so he nods and drinks his coffee. "Are you my soulmate?" Gavin spits out his drink and almost chokes. "W-where the hell did you get that idea?!" Nines looks a little confused. "Well I thought that since hank and connor are soulmates, that we were as well" gavin gives hank a bitchy glare. "Do you even know what a soulmate is?!" Nines LED flickers yellow then back to blue then he answers "A soulmate is someone who is perfectly suited to the others personality or attitude" gavin gives nines a what the fuck look and he sighs "I've got a lot to teach you"
