This is my first ever fanfic and I decided it would be about my most favorite person or well gator in the world, William Alligator, He's a great instagramer. All art belongs to me

(Y/n) loved everything about him, his shiny and smooth scales, his sparkling red eyes, his adorable toothy smile, he was perfect, William was perfect. (Y/n) has known him since kindergarten, he was also kind and he still is now. In all these years they have started to form a crush on the handsome gator.

(Y/n) stares at him from across the class room, he was having a conversation with Goobert, his best friend. (Y/n) blushes when he lets a little laugh, he has such a cute laugh. (Y/n) daydreaming is interrupted when the teacher steps into the room and starts to begin today's lesson. Their eyes shuffle back over to William to see him moving to sit down.

(Y/n) is distracted once again by William, he sits straight in his seat, eyes glistening in interest as he listens to the lecture, occasionally taking down notes. He's always been so smart, so much smarter than (y/n) or at least that how they see it. "(Y/n)....(y/n) I asked you a question" Ms. Jones says. "Uh... yes, what!?" Y/n) snaps from their daze, startled, some of the students giggle at them "I asked you a question" she repeated. (Y/n) shuffles in their desk, clearly embarrassed "I'm sorry what was the question?". Mrs. Jones looks annoyed "How many times have I told you to pay attention in class, I'll ask someone else." She begins to continue once more.

(Y/n) lowers their head, cheeks still burning, they look back over to William, noticing his gaze on them, they quickly look away. 'He must think I'm a fool.' They thought before covering their face with their hands.

Time skip
It was now the end of class, (y/n) scoops up their things and places them in their bag and started to move towards the door to embark to their next class. As they were walking they look over to see William with Goobert again. William looks up from his conversation to see (y/n), he flashes a toothy smile and a small wave. Noticing this (y/n)'s cheeks flush a light pink as they send a small smile and wave back before exiting the classroom.
(Y/n) was so happy, he smiled and waved at them, well of course he did he's just nice like that, they thought.

All through second period (y/n) though about William, they barely listened in class. The bell for the end of class ring once more. It was now lunch break. (Y/n) reaches into their bag, grabbing the lunch they brought. As they set it down their friend moves in front of their desk, grabbing the chair to the seat in front of them and sitting facing (y/n). "Hey Katy." (Y/n) says as they start to look up. Katy had a large grin on her face. "I heard teacher got on to you for not paying attention in class again." Her smirk get a bit bigger. "I bet you were day dreaming about William." She says in a sing song voice. (Y/n) cheeks burn again. Katy's smirk changes into a soft smile "God, you gotta tell him you like him." Their eyes widen "I can't just tell him" you say, surprised by her words.

A light shadow takes over the desk. (Y/n) looks over to see William standing over them with a sweet smile, a few of his sharp teeth showing, in his hands he holds his lunch. "Could I join you guys?" He asked. (Y/n) is shocked, they let out a "Y-ya... of course". He gives another large smile before pulling up a chair. Katy looks at William then back to (y/n), flashing another smirk. "Oh (y/n), I just remembered that I said I'd eat lunch with Harris" she stands quickly from her spot "See you later (y/n), goodbye William" she states happily as she exits the room.

(Y/n) was still stunned letting out a small "Katy" as they watched her leave. "Man she seems in a hurry" William says sending a small grin "So (y/n) haven't talked to you in a while so I thought it would be nice to eat with you" you give a smile "Well thank you for spending time with me" (y/n) says shyly "Its not much, I like being with you" he says before beginning to eat. (Y/n) flushes again before being to eat as well. They sit together talking about their days and how they have been doing while enjoying their meals. Soon the bell for 3rd period rings. William looks surprised as the bell interrupts his sentence "Man, I lost track of time, I really enjoyed myself, we should hang out again" he says as he packs his lunch box and stands. He gives a small bow "Thank you, I'll see you later" he says send a cute toothy smile one last time before moving to his next class

(Y/n) smiles to themselves, he likes spending time with them. They can't wait to spend more time with their dear William

Time skip
The final bell of the day rings, (y/n) stands from their seat and leave the class heading for their locker. As they approach, they can see Katy and Harris already waiting their for them. Katy smirks and Harris gives a friendly smile. "So how did it go with William?" Katy says "Hey, come on Katy, you don't always have to tease them" Harris says "No it's fine, it went really well" they say with a smile. "Oooh, really" Katy says excitedly. "Hey
(Y/n)" some calls out. (Y/n) knows that wonderful voice all too well. The group turns to sell William waving a few feet away, Goobert standing next to him. He jogs over toward us. "I don't think you've ever met Goobert (y/n), he's like the best" William says. Goobert stands shyly beside him "H-howdy" he says quietly, while nervously fiddling with this tie. (Y/n) smiles at him and nods their head, he seems really sweet.

"I got to go, but we should hang out together tomorrow" he leans in and nuzzles his long snout into (y/n)'s cheek. As he leans back he gives a bashful smile, a few sharp teeth showing. His cheeks were almost a light pink and his scaly tail swaying happily. He waves before jogging out with Goobert close behind. (Y/n) could feel their ears burning but they watch with a smile on their face as he leaves. They can't wait to hang out with him again.
